Does anyone else find this hilarious? Super Saiyan God came to stop the bad Saiyans, but the time limit ran out - so the person who originally was the SSG probably got his ass waxed by those very same bad Saiyans the moment the form ran dry, lol.

I don't understand...Super Saiyan God appears long time ago on Planet Vegeta to stop bad Saiyans, than time limit ran out and he got beaten by those saiyans...but so you can became a Super Saiyan God without being able to transform in normal Super Saiyan??? 'cause i can't believe that a normal Super Saiyan can be defeated by bad Saiyans, when his SSG state ran out...sorry for my bad english guys...what do you think??

I like that theory, or outlook rather. That and, if this movie was really set two years after the Boo arc, it runs dangerously close to the exact same time frame as the JSAT special, so spreading it out a little more is better.

Indeed. Leaves plenty of time for things like Gohan and Videl (apparently) getting married, Kuririn and Videl to change their hair, Goku to catch up to Gohan and Gotenks the slackers in power...

... Oh, and I just realized it fits THIS pretty darn well.

I'm sure you can come up with something, the possibilities are endless when writing fiction :0 I think a cool idea is Goku goes SS4 and Baby responds by becoming Golden Oozaru, and SS4 still isn't enough as Baby continuously absorbs energy from the mind controlled Earthlings. Goku calls upon the power of the Super Saiyan God however, utilizing his Saiyan family, and becomes a Super Saiyan 4 God, with glowing red fur and hair.

That does resemble what really did happen in GT, where the other Saiyans popped in and loaned Super Saiyan 4 Goku their "Saiya power" to finish off Baby. So yeah, that COULD work as a sort of adaptation of that... but it'd also be lame. I'm trying to keep my storytelling fresh by avoiding just recycling solutions to past battles. I'd prefer to work around or avoid using "Super Saiyan God" just as much as I'm avoiding using the Spirit Bomb. For that main general reason, I may be better off just letting GTR remain its own thing, spun off from just the manga and only making small nods towards anything else.

I don't see a problem with Goten, Trunks or Marron's ages vs. how old they appear. Goten and Trunks are part Saiyan (and we know that Goku didn't look like a teenager at age 12 or even at age 15), and Marron is part Krillin (and he also stayed a runt for a long time before finally getting taller.)

Dende jumping back and forth between teenager-sized and older-kid-sized (and then adult-sized by the time Uub shows up) is more of an inconsistency, but then again he was inconsistent even in the original series, so...

Yeah, I remember early in the Great Saiyaman stuff, he appeared much taller...then when he reappears later in the Buu saga he's barely even bigger than he was 7 years prior.

No he doesn't, but he once becomes stronger than Goku because of his anger against Bills slapping Bulma. As for Pilaf's gang, they have become young because they gathered all the dragon Balls themselves and wished for youth, but Senglong made them a little but too young.

To me it sounds more like the Elder Namek and Elder Kaioshin's unlock abilities (as in, they're permanent/sorta tappable at will).
