As someone who knows multiple dancers I can say doing a pirouette like that is definitely difficult, especially with his arms posed that way.

Yeah, we're talking about people with superhuman strength who can jump stories high, do backflips like they're nothing and... well, fly. I think a pirouette isn't that hard for them

I don't think there is much to make of pronouncing 'Birus'. It seems pretty straight forward to me. The 'bi' is the Japanese 'bi' and the 'rus' is from 'virus'. ビrus!

That was one possibility we had discussed, and while I'm not saying you shouldn't use that, since it is completely up to you personally, that's just not how his name is pronounced in the movie (in Japanese). My issue with it is there's absolutely no hard "v" sound in his name. It's not like Vegeta, where you're going from a hard "b" to a hard "v" sound. There's a drastic difference in going from a "u" to a hard "v" sound. Phonetically it's just not even close, but again, it's up to you. Just wanted to lay that out there.

Are you kidding? His ego will never go away. Sure, he's not so vocal anymore with his boasting and stuff and his arrogance has been toned down, but I believe he will always have a gigantic ego.

Even though Birus and Uis/Vis aren't based on the English pronunciation of the word, since the word Virus exists in English. I'm gonna promounce the names based on that. So, Bye-rus and Viss. I'm 100% aware of how they're pronounced in Japanese. I at least know how Katakana/Hiragana and pronunications work.

The pronunciation of the villains' names is pretty straightforward to me. I'm just still trying to figure out how I want to personally *spell* them. I've pretty much settled on "Uis" for Willy because there's really no other logical way to do that one. As for Billy, I'm leaning towards "Viirus" because that's my favorite way so far of preserving the pronunciation and the name pun. I mean, I could get used to writing "Birus" if I had to, but that's basically the same as calling Satan's daughter "Bidel." I want to stay consistent with my own personal naming scheme.

Does anyone remembers that moment in JLU when Batman had to do something for a goddess to save Wonder Woman and they led you to believe it was something terrible, like revealing his secret identity? And then the scene cuts and it's Batman singing "Are You Blue" and it felt like the greatest moment of your life?

I'm not sure about Uis, but I feel that if we didn't pronounce Birus as "Bye-rus", the pun would be lost. In the end, either way is fine for me...but if they(FUNi) wanted the keep the pun, "Bye-rus" would work better in the eventual localization, IMO.
