Yeah, I took it to mean "With today's opening results, the film will surely surpass the 3 billion yen goal", but you never know with Google.

Having learned that Birus refers to Vegeta as "Vegeta-kun" when speaking to him while Bulma introduces herself, I can't help but partly wish that if/once Funi gets to dub that line, they translate it to "Veggie." >_> (Or "Geta". That'd be my 2nd choice.)

I dunno. I remember hearing the second Berserk movie was released around June in theaters and it released on December on DVD. So...does that mean it depends on the movie?

Why are people still complaining that SSJG Goku is thinner than usual? He's a martial artist. I don't think most martial artists are supposed to be heavily muscular anyway.

I think he's thinner because gods don't rely on physical strength, they have divine power, which is why none of them look like much of a fighter, except maybe Kibito. Look how skinny Whis and Bills are, especially Whis and he's the most powerful.

I'm not complaining either. I like slim ssjg Goku (w/his big red irises 'n magenta hair *u* ). The reason I can think of for why some may not like how slim he is would be that it doesn't look very super-hero-y? I dunno.

I think his figure reminds me of 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai Goku, but I still think ssjg is slimmer than that (I feel like I recall 23rd Budoukai Goku still having some of the baby-fat he carried through most of early DB).

I'm undecided on his slimness until I can actually see a really good shot of the form in motion. So long as it doesn't turn into Slenderman-Goku (like that one statue from another thread ), then I'm probably okay with it. I'll take a slimmer Goku over the return of the over-the-top muscles like Broly or Trunks got up to.

I've been trying to remember a question I had about the movie that only occured to me while reading the full synopsis for a third time earlier, but for the life of me I can't remember it even after reading it yet again.

I just like the slimmer art style in general. It makes more sense for these guys to be fairly slender, rather than uber-muscular, since they ARE martial artists, and not body-builders.

Super Saiyan God is thinner probably because Toriyama's current art style now focuses primarily skinnier characters. That was probably how he sent the design in for them in the first place and they just decided to run with it out of respect rather than change it to a more "Toei-style" thing; like, compare Toriyama's SSJ4 and Toei's SSJ - Toriyama's one is skinnier.
