I still don't see any information about that:
There is a Tadayoshi Yamamuro illustration for Battle of Gods?
Do you want NEW GENERATION DRAGON BALL (Z, GT..) IMAGES? In HQ? Of all characters? Click here: http://daizex.fanboyreview.net/viewtopic.php?t=17178

Just a heads up: I specifically wrote "Dragon Ball GT Story Guide: Each page has 3 acts. No new illustrations, however. Everything is just screenshots." and "Battle of Gods: 5 pages with only screenshots, no new illustrations" to answer your question.
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

Thank you. Then, I'm so disappointed, it doesn't make any sense to have illustrations for each movie and not one for the last one, and the same for the TV Specials. The edition of this book is ridiculous poor.

It is sad that the new material wasn't treated the same way, but these books are only being released to hype up the movie. The daizenshuu were collector's items, and they really took their time with them. Now they are just putting the new information in because they have to, so I doubt they'd really put much effort into making it nice.

One more question. In the Design Library, there isn't stuff from Episode of Bardock, the gaiden remake from 2010, Battle of Gods or the 2008 special?

So it seems the cover for the Chōgashū has been revealed. I don't like it that much though.
Can anyone tell me what's that "400" text? I'm hoping it's not just "400 pages" as I was hoping for a bit more considering the price (well, considering the Daizenshuu 1 had 217 pages maybe 400 pages isn't that bad)...

I'm sure someone with better Japanese skills will correct me, but I think it says something like "more than 400 illustrations".

Yeah, it's a collection of over 400 illustrations drawn from 1985 to 2013.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

Just for comparison purposes, around how many illustrations had Daizenshuu 1?

Now I'm totally fine with the ~400 number!!

EDIT: Wait, aren't they more like 265 or something? (considering Cold Skin's Daizenshuu numbering on his "Pictures color-corrected to fit various official version" thread)

If you count all the artwork different parts, which is what the book does, then it's 265 illustrations.

To explain further about the count, this artwork:

Image

it is counted as 8 illustrations rather than one, because 8 characters appear on a white background (in the version featured in the book, which I couldn't find on the internet).

Yeah, I understood, I watched a video earlier today that shown all of the pictures of the Daizenshuu 1, and I noticed some were separated per character. :P
I was asking all of that because I was trying to figure out the amount of new content on the book (now that I think about it, it's been 18 years since the release of the first Daizenshuu so there had to be some new content).

Assuming you're considering it a low number, I say it's very possible, considering he hasn't been actively drawing Dragon Ball since then.
That'd be around 7 images per year. 8)
