Oh, this sounded really interesting (and also odd). What are the other "strongest" titles given?

(from the pictures posted on page 622, for those having trouble following along!)
Some of these are really awkward to translate

Gokuu: The strongest man who continues to seek out the strongest!

Gohan: Strongest gentle-hearted sense of justice! (could probably phrase that better somehow...)

Goten: Inherited Gokuu's strongest DNA! (so Goten's not special on his own, only 'cause he's Gokuu's son )

Vegeta: Strongest incomparable pride!

Trunks: The son of the strongest husband & wife is the strongest smart aleck!

Kuririn: Gokuu's best friend is the strongest Earthling!

There're a few more characters, but not all are very interesting (Dende is the strongest doctor!)

It doesn't look like it. His eyes would suggest he is in that rested state. It would explain why he has 1 strand sometimes and 2 another.

Goku's & Gohan's hairstyles never changed during the Cell Games when they got serious against Cell, only the look in their eyes changed. And as I said before, Gohan's base hairstyle changed. One month passed between the High-school & 25th Tenkaichi Budokai Arcs.

I don't think they are going for power level statements here. She is just a really good wife.(They could have said something about her being a genius but I guess that is too important anymore)

Why are people still surprised to see Kuririn labelled as the "strongest Earthling"? That's been happening at a pretty regular clip since the Boo arc. I'd expect people to at least be used to it by now, if nothing else.

(On that note, all the characters in Zenkai Battle Royale likewise have "Strongest X", "Strongest Y"-style titles. Kuririn's title is "Strongest Earthling" while Tenshinhan's title is "Strongest Martial Artist", take that as you may.)

Tenshinhan actually knows more techniques thanks to constant training, but Kuririn simply has more raw strength/a higher battle power? That's my take.

Other then Super Hero Taisen Z, is there anything else coming out in April in Japan that can over shadow this movie. It would be cool to see Battle of Gods be #1 again for another few more weeks.

Those "strongest" catchphrases are hilarious. But I wonder, If Bulma was called the "strongest wife" what was used for Chi-Chi?
Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if they ever tied the knot or not, but if they did, wouldn't Kuririn's wife, Android 18, actually be the strongest? Not only in power, but also in the way that she's got Kuririn in the palm of her hand, more or less

The first picture is simply a suppressed state. It looks very similar to his rested Ssj state before the start of the Cell games in fact. The anime is also not a good way to gauge whether someone is a Ssj2 or not because Toei refuses to animate lightning . The manga presents a very clear picture of what the differences are in Ssj and Ssj2. Gohan was not a Ssj2 against Dabura.

But the hair on Gohan looks SSJ2, it's just the lack of lightning that makes it curious...but Dabura was clearly winning in the long run, Gohan looked more exhausted from the fighting. He showed Kibito SSJ2 rather casually. Why wouldn't he bust out SSJ2 if he was having troubles when he did so earlier for no real reason (Kibito just wanted to see SSJ1)? I feel he was supposed to be SSJ2, and the lightning was just forgot at the time (rushing out a chapter, or something).

I agree, Goku and Vegeta were also judging Gohan while he was fighting Dabura and saying he got a lot weaker since he fought Cell. Why would they make that comparison if he wasn't fighting at his best? (SSJ2) And his hair looks exactly like how he did when he showed Kibito the form, I think they just forgot about the lightning.

Anyways, is there any reason why Gotenks didn't go SSJ3 in the movie?
