I just recently discovered the arranged versions of some of the Hyper Dimension tracks, and they sound really good... which reminded me that game had a fairly strong soundtrack:

Amazing.

For me, it's the one for Buyuu Retsuden.

I consistently find myself listening time and time again to Budokai Tenkaichi 2 & 3 (Kenji Yamamoto's replacement score), and to Super Butouden 2. Legendary Super Warriors, the Legacy of Goku games also stand out with good music.

The replacement score was not done by Yamamoto. I think those games had several composers.

Indeed. BT2 had other composers for different parts of the soundtrack. BT3 just had Toshiyuki Kishi, Raging Blast's composer.

I love the Dragon Ball Online soundtrack. I just recently found this youtube channel via the Japanese DBO website that has been uploading the music.

Haha, one of the first games I played!!! This sounds more clear, the actual sound on console was more huff and low-quality 16-bit, so it sounded more techno!
Yeah, I think I like this more than those from Super Butouden in SNES era, only because of that techno sound I remember.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

I actually quite like the grungy sound on the Genesis. I always felt techno songs on it sounded better than on the SNES.
