"I wonder when we'll show up next?..."
"Maybe if SD continues for 5 years or so there's a chance..."

Goku on Kinto-un is by Toriyama (and I think Julian translated that message already), but I think the other stuff was drawn by Ooishi.

Nostal said that the Saiyans are drawn by Toriyama, but he could be wrong, I guess?

If Julian has translated the message, then it's not up to the site yet. I wonder if Toriyama says anything about a new series! joking

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Looks like Ooishi's art to me, anyway.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

What does this say? All I can tell is that it's taking about Dragon Ball SD x Dragon Ball Heroes: Victory Mission, and related with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods...?

Also, what is this talking about?

I was just wondering if the text in this card gives away anything as to why Trunks has such an expression on his face.

All the recent Ooishi stuff is on our plate; no worries.

(Well, not the comics themselves... just interviews and quotes.)

That's the weirdest face I've ever seen on a Dragon Ball character outside of pedo Vegeta!

Nope. It just has standard instructions on how to use the card.

I'd be thankful if anyone could translate those names for stages of the SNES game Super Butoden 3.
One of them is the regular stage available in the game, the other one is an unusued variation of the stage and the only stage that can't be played in the actual game (featuring Piccolo's statue but not Krilin's, perhaps an unfinished version that was given up).

They share a similar name, but for the unused stage, there is some additionnal specification with additionnal Japanese signs. Maybe we could learn some more about the staff's original intentions if we knew what it meant.

Thanks!
This is unexpected, the specification has nothing to do with the variation itself, it just specifies a blue sky while there is also a blue sky in the regular version.

My guess is that it was a version in development, they ultimately chose to erase Piccolo.
The specification would have been there because the same stage exists during sunset and night, but they would have chosen to simply not specify anything in the final version.

Why they chose to remove Piccolo could be for several reasons:
- Maybe they intended that as a Mortal Kombat kind of excuse for why the character couldn't be selected in this third episode, similarly to how Mortal Kombat 2 showed two characters that couldn't be selected anymore appearing as prisoners on one of the landscapes.
- Maybe they didn't have time to model Krilin and therefore took out Piccolo rather than leaving only one of them.
- Maybe they thought that the initial good idea of having Piccolo (and Krilin?) appearing in the background as a reference to the original story was ultimately a bad idea because it didn't respect the fact that they're supposed to be statues on the top of a rock and not on the ground in the middle of grasslands.

Anyway, thanks for translating that, it does imply that this stage was not supposed to be anything special, just the "blue sky" variation that would have been associated to the "orange sky" and "starlit sky" variations, possibly implying that it was just a previous version of the actual "blue sky" stage used in-game. 8)

I can only imagine that it has something to do with Trunks talking about #19 & #20 instead of #17 & #18.

No one really has to translate the whole thing if they don't want.
Just the gist of what the heck is going on in this V-jump would be nice.

Does anyone know of the whereabouts of the Movie 8 Daizenshuu article from Kanzentai...? It's been a while since the site merge and I know the staff has been very busy with BoG material and new guidebooks. If anyone has saved it and is willing to post it here or message it to me I'd be very appreciative!

What... the f***...
