I have seen all four DB movies. The first was okay, but I just find the second boring, and the third confusing (why is Chaozu and emperor?). The fourth I really liked, though.

As for DBZ, I have seen movies 1, 2, 3, 5, 10, and 13. The only ones I really like from those are movies 1 (to an extent), 3, and 5. I didn't pay much attention to movie 13 to tell the truth, so I may rewatch that one.
So mondo lame.

I'll just straight up say that Movie 9 is pretty awesome as far as movies go. If you ever get the chance, watch that sucker....Okay, that came out weird. Just watch the movie.

1. The first time I watched DBZ was on a bootleg VHS and I didn't like it one bit.
2. My first DB doujinshi was Dragon Ball H book one.
3. I used to have the biggest crush on Future Gohan... when he lost his arm. HOT!
4. My favorite couple has always been Goku and Chichi.
5. I started drawing DB hentai comics when I was in High School. My first comic was a Goku and 18 gag/erotic comic that was never completed.
6. My first DB fanart was SSJ Goku and it took me four days to finish it (I wanted it to look really, really good... but it didn't).
7. My first DB game was Dragon Ball Final Bout and I still have it.
8. Akira Toriyama is one of my all time favorite artist.
9. I've watched all of the Anime, including the fillers and GT but I never fully read the manga or watched all of the movies.
10. I love, love, LOVE Dragon Ball hentai! (Yes, I'm nasty).

1. My favourite character is Vegeta.
2. When I was younger I had a cartoon crush on #18, Bulma, and Videl. :P
3. I love the manga, the anime isn't all that in comparison.
4. The first game I played was Final Bout.
5. I will usually buy most things Dragon Ball related, even if it costs me an arm and a leg.
6. I've quite an obsession with training which stems from my love for DB and Bruce Lee. He was the man!
7. I only, really, buy Vegeta, Vegetto, and Gogeta figures.
8. I talk about DB a lot, and I mean a lot.
9. I first watched the series in 99, I was 6. :)
10. I enjoy drawing DB characters. :)

3) When I was about 6 or 7 I was scared of the scene that had Dab(u)ra spitting on Kuririn and Piccolo.
I wasn't scared, I figured they would get wished back with the Dragonballs (before I knew that Dabura's spit wore off when he died).

I have
5) I've only read the "Z-portion" of the Manga, which I achieved by reading the VizBigs which I borrowed from my local library.

1. When I first heard about the series in elementary school, I thought it sounded really dumb. Ended up really getting into it once I started watching on Toonami.

2. When I was still a child, I assumed that I would eventually outgrow DB(Z), and I remember really hoping at one particular moment in time that such a thing wouldn't end up happening as I got older. Still hasn't. :P

3. I got stoned right before watching the Japanese version for the first time.

4. Not understanding Japanese makes the dialog sound like gibberish while watching in Japanese. This increases my enjoyment of it, actually. I now prefer not being able to vocally understand the characters, for some reason. Think of it like Animal Crossing, where the characters aren't actually speaking recognizable words.

5. The good ol' FUNimation dub only warrants watching for the sake of comedy, or nostalgia trips.

6. I reflexively go to any and all means to snuff out misinformation and misconceptions regarding DB outside of this forum (be it on Youtube, 4chan, other forums, or in real life).

7. I view the Z portion of the series as still being a gag manga/anime, in a meta sense. The fact that everyone is being so serious, and that the series itself takes an overall more serious tone for a few arcs, is a meta gag in and of itself.

8. I probably couldn't decide on a favorite character to save my life, despite the fact that I would main Cell-arc Gohan in Budokai 1 and 2 as a kid.

9. I managed to get all 7 Dragon Boxes before they become ridiculously expensive. I used my college financial aid to get them, despite my aunt and uncle harping on me for not using the stuff for school. I feel like that's one of the most worthwhile acts of defiance in my life.

10. I've gotten a good friend of mine, my girlfriend, and her brother (all of whom generally disliked or were indifferent towards the series), into Dragon Ball (to varying degrees) via TFS' Abridged series. My girlfriend even cosplayed as Videl at an anime convention last year.

1) Dragonball Z was my 'gateway' anime that led me to discover others and become involved in online communities.
2) Dragonball Z was my first introduction to Japanese music - leading to a love of JRock and Visual Kei
3) Dragonball Z led me into a fascination and love of Japanese culture and cuisine - I even ended up spending time over there. Gaijin da!
4) I like, and am happy to watch, the Ocean, Funimation, Westwood or Blue Water Dubs. Say what you wish about them, those voice casts were a big part of my childhood - I've seen them all and in some cases were my first introduction to the series.
5) I've seen every movie multiple times apart from Movie 4, Movie 10 and Movie 11. I think they're dreadful - and that's not to say I like all of the others, there's probably only four that I really enjoy. Those are 8, 9, 12 and 13.
6) I find four parts of the anime almost intolerable to watch: The Red Ribbon Army Saga, The '5 minutes until Namek explodes' part of the Freeza battle (or sometimes the fight in general), The Garlic Jr Saga and the Shadow Dragon Saga before the 'final battle'.
7) Piccolo is, and always has been, my favorite character. Bad-ass Anime/Movie moments include fighting Freeza, standing up to Vegeta after Namek exploded, fighting 17 and making Vegeta get his shit-straight during Movie 8.
8) Dragonball: Legends is, and always has been, my favourite game.
9) Back in the day my favourite Dragonball site was Gojiita's Domain and my first forum was Dragonball Z Circuit.
10) 'The Big Green Dub' is the only thing I'd erase from Dragonball History. I'd even keep Evolution - purely as I think it will serve to be a reminder for future generations of film-makers as to 'how not to adapt an Anime'.

1. I like GT
2. I didn't like Dragonball at first (Mainly because I got told off for liking Pokemon  )
3. I love the Legacy of Goku trilogy (even the first game)
4. I think Dragonball peaked with the Freeza arc
5. I hate powerlevel discussion/ vs. topics
6. Even as a teen I never found the Japanese voices like Goku sounded 'girly' or whatnot. I just preferred English because it's my language.
7. I lurked before joining here for a few years
8. I would like more movies but no new series because the series has been stretched enough if it is.
9. I really don't like the Artifical Human arc much.
10. I pretty much like every character except probably Broly.

Could probably go on and on...
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Huh. That's not something I would have ever guessed we'd have in common, even if it's something from way back when. And here I thought I was pretty much the only one based on most people's reactions to Pan.

It's actually kind of refreshing to see someone so up front about that kinda thing. :P Then again, I live in an area that's overly religious and closed off about that kinda stuff, so that's probably why.

1. I like Kikuchi music and Nathan Jonson music and LOVE Faulconer and Shuki Levy music. I also enjoyed Yamamoto in the games but haven't heard much of his Kai work.
2. I despise the Megaman soundtrack from the Westwood dub.
3. I like GT
4. I first got into the series when I saw the filler episode of Bulma and Frieza's minions and fell in love with it during the Goku vs Frieza fight.
5. I often change my opinion about DB or DBZ better than one another.
6. My first DBZ game and first PS2 game was Budokai 2 in Xmas 2003 and I got all the yearly games since then until Ultimate Tenkaichi which I've yet to get.
7. Budokai 3 is my favourite DBZ game ever.
8. I loved the Ocean dub at episode 1-53 but hated it from episode 108 onwards.
9. FUNimation Z is my favourite version of the series.
10. Despite liking the Japanese version I sometimes find it too bland and boring. Especially some of the movies.

1) I was introduced to the series by a friend of mine (he showed me an episode of the late Freeza arc).
2) I first came across Kanzenshuu (then Daizenshuu EX) in September of 2011, though I didn't start visiting regularly until April of last year.
3) My favorite character is Vegeta.
4) I've read all the manga, (Viz version) and have watched all of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z but not all of GT.
5) This was my first Dragon Ball forum to become a member of.

9. I do DB and DBZ panels at several anime conventions
10. The board I broke to receive my first black belt is signed by the DBZ cast.

2. I am interested in all strength debates
3. This is my second DBZ forum as I used to be on DBO community forum
4. I like SSJ4 and if it weren't used in GT it should have been the SSJ God Design
5. I am a fan of both the engish and japanese cast
6. Youtube dragonball fans make me cringe
7. Goku and Boo saga Gohan are my favourite characters
8. Freeza saga is my favourite saga
9. I am not a fan of SSJ3's look, but SSJ3 (mainly Goku) easily has the best transformations in the franchise
10. I am on a quest to get the signatures of every DBZ cast member I can get in my area. I have Sean Schemmel, Chris Sabat, and Vic Mignogna. Next up Ryo Horikawa.

1. When I was around 5-6 (whenever the episodes aired), I would watch some episodes (and Tree Of Might, which was broken up into episodes IIRC) of the FUNi/Saban dub with my brother and friend. I had some idea of who the characters were and what they looked like (I even distinctly remember watching the over 9000 scene live) but it didn't really stick with me until I caught some of the Cell Saga while watching other shows that were on Toonami. It was still a pretty big blur to me (I thought long haired Trunks was some sort of super form of Goku while he talked with Cell about the Cell Games), until about a year later I caught reruns of the Trunks saga casually, watched a bit of it, saw Freeza and Trunks show up, and was in love from there on. If I wasn't sold then, Dragon Ball and Buu saga airing on Toonami as well sealed the deal. Been a constant fan since the summer of 2001, so well over a decade by now, a love which is probably only outlived by my love for Nintendo games.

2. From the moment on when Vegeta returns to Earth after looking for Goku, I've definitely seen every episode of DBZ. I would say I've seen everything for sure from the beginning of the battle with Freeza on, but I'm not sure if I've seen all of Garlic saga. Seen parts of the Ginyu Tokusentai battle, and a good deal of the Saiyan saga in the redub. Everything else I've seen through Kai or read in the manga (which I've read back to front). As for Kai, I've only seen the series in Japanese up to when Vegeta kills Android 19, and I've seen bits and pieces of Android/Cell in the dub. I've seen everything in the original Dragon Ball anime up until Goku confronts the Red Ribbon Headquarters, then I saw everything leading up to Goku vs. Tenshinhan except the fight itself, and then I never saw the rest of Dragon Ball (again, read the manga instead). I intend to rectify this soon, however. I've seen scattered pieces of the Black Star Dragon Balls/Baby saga, but I've seen all of Super 17 and Shadow Dragons. I don't intend to rectify this one.

3. Future Trunks was initially my favorite character because his appearance is what hooked me into the series, though I would later regard Cyborg Freeza as one of the lowest points of the Dragon Ball canon. I still like Trunks just fine, however.

4. I've probably seen Buu saga (specifically, everything after Vegeta sacrifices himself) more than any part of the series, because they got released on home video before they were broadcasted on TV, so I'd watch them over and over at the excitement of having so much new DBZ at once.

5. Around the turn of the century, googling stuff about Dragon Ball is what got me involved in the internet world.

6. I consider the printed manga firmly canon and nothing else (barring what Toei or Toriyama might have to say about Battle Of The Gods, I'm not sure what the deal is with that exactly), but prefer how the anime will sometimes keep fights from being such a curb stomp, or allow for characters to be fleshed out in non-battle settings (this is particularly the case with Android/Cell and Buu).

7. I've never played more than ten minutes of two, maybe three video games of the franchise.

8. I don't mind the old Z dub post-Weasel, and have no attachment to the Ocean cast/dub whatsoever.

9. My first EVER exposure to any sort of Japanese version of any of the Dragon Ball series was a fansub of a Kid Buu episode I found on Bearshare (or Kazaa...or whatever it was) in the early noughties, and my first thought was "why is Dragon Ball music playing in DBZ?"

10. I'm in North Carolina for college, but the semester ends and I move back home literally a couple of days before Animazement.

1. I don't really like fighting.
2. I read the whole manga, and seen the whole anime in Japanese and English
3. GT is probably my favourite of the three series, and I like the Garlic Jr arc.
4. I used to be a big dub-with-Faulconer fan, but now I prefer the Japanese version
5. I dislike most of the theatrical films, but like all of the TV specials
6. I really dislike the story being split into "Dragon Ball" and "Dragon Ball Z"
7. I was really disappointed when there wasn't an episode about Goku and Chichi's wedding. I wish there was, and other stuff like that.
8. Being able to read the original manga, and justify getting the kanzenbans, is one of my secondary reasons for learning Japanese.
9. I still, due to nostalgia, think of Goku's fight with Freeza in the dub with dub BGM as the epitome of epicness.
10. I own all seven Region 1 Dragon Boxes

1. My first version of Db-dbz-dbgt was the Korean Dub
2. I used to think Db-dbz-dbgt was made in South Korean(I was a kid at the time) till I saw some Jap footage with the uncut jap sighs.
3. Goten is my favorite character
4. When I met Akira I didn't mention the Db franchise at all.
5. I think Vegeta is over rated
6. I used to think Krillin and Tien had cancer(I'm serious.)
7. I swear when I was poking my hand in the air like a SuperNova and Deathball I saw a spark of orange ki in the shape of a sphere for a good 3 seconds.
8.I ate a senzu bean before. Tasted like pumpkin seeds
9. I own a power pole that is actually size
10. I thought Bulma was the true main character not Goku

1. Dragon Ball and DBZ are probably the third and fourth animes I remember watching as a kid, after Samurai Pizza Cats and Sailor Moon.
2. I have dressed up as DBZ characters for Halloween on two occasions (Goku and Vegeta when I was 7 and 8 respectively, both store bought )
3. When I was 8 I came up with a Digimon/Cell hybrid named "Perfectmon" who was somehow Cell's "brother"; also, despite being a Virus type and looking even more evil than Cell (I gave him glow-y red eyes a la Cooler's final form), he was a good guy.
4. Seeing #17 and Trunks' Post-ROSAT look as a youngster may have inspired me to grow my hair long as I got older. :P
5. I believe Norio Wakamoto's performance as Cell is the greatest villain voice ever.
6. Funi's placement of American/Canadian music in Movie 4 and 5 (especially Deftones' "Change" during the SSJ transformation in the latter) actually inspired me to get more into music and eventually me learning to play guitar as well learning music production. On that note, I think the heavy rock actually makes Movie 4 more watchable.
7. I discovered Daizex when I was about 11 around the time I played Budokai 1 for GCN, it opened me up to a whole new world of DB info I had not even thought of before, as I didn't even really think of the Japanese version until coming there (or should I say here?), afterwards it was the only DB site I trusted from then on (until I found Kanzentai as well a few years later).
8. Much like the rest of you guys, I too had a crush on #18 and still think she's the most attractive anime/manga character I've seen (not that she compares to real, live women :P )
9. Another one from my past: The first uncut DBZ episode I saw was 126 (where Dr. Gero impales Yamcha, saw it on VHS at a friend's place as he got it for his birthday) which made me think the Androids/Cell arc was the most "hardcore" arc and therefore making DBZ the most "hardcore" show on TV. Of course, before that I had only known the heavily edited Ocean dub and edited Freeza arc episodes.
10. I have a very loose understanding of Japanese after seeing DBZ subtitled, and by that I mean a few choice phrases and words such as "nani?" "kuso!!" "kanzentai", "mirai", etc. :P

Oh yeah, I did this too. Same year I got into DBZ I assembled a bitching Future Trunks costume (as bitching as it can be for a ten year old, anyway). I wonder if I have any photos lying around of it...

The next year I was Gotenks, but it was a much more haphazard costume.
