Don't they have a little bit more picture? I think I can see more of Shuu's sword in the Chouzenshuu.
Yeah, and it's remastered in 1080p and presented in anamorphic widescreen with never before seen image from the sides. Sounds familiar?
Well at least it's not cropped

I'm serious, though. But I smiled.

So, ultimately, regarding the printing quality and all, is the Chozenshu better than the Daizenshu collection?
Therefore, can we expect the upcoming illustration collection to have Toriyama's artworks in better quality than in the first Daizenshu? (thanks to possibly improved technology/files compared to back then)

Overall no, sadly not. It ranges from "about as good" most of the time to "notably worse", but only the new material has better quality.

Would you mind providing a quick comparison for the "notably worse" quality? Also, has the change in colors in the background affected the quality in any way?
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

Fairly certain we've already covered all essential details without the need to paste entire scanned pages.

As we noted, V-Jump and WJ (#21) cover the same information.

Probably won't be picking up either of these. I already own the 1st Daizenshuu and The Golden Warrior, so unless there's anything significantly new I don't see much point in picking it up. Chōzenshū 04, given that it will contain content from Daizenshuu 7, will likely be very text-heavy and since I can't read Japanese...yeah.

People were wondering about the extended number of pages for the Chogashu compared to the first Daizenshu, like whether or not this would include artworks by other people than Toriyama.
I rather think that it will all be Toriyama, but Daizenshu 1 contained a certain number of artworks being reduced in size and compacted on a same page.
My guess is that the Chogashu will actually contain all artworks full-sized on at least one page for each and include all original fully-colored pages, Tankobon cover artworks and Kanzenshuu cover artworks as full-size pictures as well.

I think so because of the fact that the cover shows the Ginyu Commando color page and the "Goku in leather jacket" Tankobon cover as being among other artworks, implying they might not be "bonus thumnails views" this time, but fully-considered artwork deserving a full-size.

I know I said I didn't like it, but this cover is beggining to grow on me :P
I'm hoping the letters and that stuff are all shiny (like the original Daizenshuu were) :D

Yay, shiny letters! Wait... the book is really thick, those pages can't be thin. It also looks bigger than the Chozenshu but that's probably an optical illusion, they're both B5. :o
It's probably because of that apparent slipcase...
