Can we assume that A-19 and C-20 are in Trunk's timeline?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Sounds like fun. Mostly Skyrim and Okami. But this isn't really the place for this kind of discussion. So, let's not have this topic derail any more, ok? :D If you wanna talk, just PM me.

I don't think it is, but that Trunks was weaker than Imperfect Cell, who was weaker than the Androids, so he couldn't have destroyed them. He would have had to find some way to shut them down.
No my theory is that it's exactly like our Trunks who killed the Androids, but for some reason he was killed by Cell.......As in this other Trunks did the same thing as our Trunks and kill the Androids and went to tell Goku and Co the good news.

Wasn't there a timeline page that said Trunks shut them down?

Either way, it's hard to consider, since we know Trunks and Krillin had to get the Android blueprints from Gero's underground lab. Something Trunks most likely wouldn't have known about it in that time. If Trunks destroyed the Androids with his own power, I don't see how Cell would take him down with seemingly no trouble.

Then again....Cell was implied to be stronger than the Androids after being released in the future, so maybe in this timeline, Trunks gains enough power to take the Androids out, but not quite at a level to handle Cell. It's all a guess.

This timeline would probably consist of.

Trunks tells Goku about the Androids.
Comes back and sees 20.
Kuririn actually shuts down the androids
Trunks goes home , find blueprints shuts down androids
Trunks is on his way to tell them he did it , a superior Cell kills him.

This would be Trunks from his power he used when 17 one shotted him.

That works. It'd make sense if the events played out like that, anyway.

Yea that's what I figured. And Trunks is attacked while adjusting the time he wants to travel to! Lol. One less headache.

That's true in our universe. You can't expect every fictional universe to follow those same laws--especially fantasy universes. Besides, Dragon Ball alone breaks our laws of physics on far more occasions than this.

Daizenshuu 7 suggests it. It wouldn't make sense for the Trunks Cell killed to have experienced the same things as the Trunks we know, given how time travel works in Dragon Ball. That is, the timeline this dead-Trunks created when he went back in time wouldn't have had a Cell from the future, because the Cell from the future ends up in a completely different timeline; that means it would be a timeline identical to the one we see up until Bulma finds out about the second time machine, which wouldn't have happened.

That's not an opinion it's fact =/. Akira brought it up many times when Trunks and 17 are talking. unlimted energy is possible in dbz.

As I said in another thread, the laws of physics don't technically disallow the existence of infinite energy. They disallow the creation or destruction of energy, but that doesn't prevent an infinite amount of energy from existing somewhere. Find it, tap into it, and you've got yourself a power source that will never run out, no laws of physics violated.
