Anyway, here's Cell and his non-orange crotch.

Nooo....they're serious ?
In France we had the same kind of problems with CSI, (when they shot down Baka-Bieber for an example...CUT ! CUT ! CUT !
) Not only animes...
Yeah, it works perfectly with Mozilla too.

Jeez... well, at least it looks less-awful with their Perfect Cell edit. I can't believe the BS&P standards for that network! At least, tell me it's the network and not the FCC demanding these...
For all the flack that FUNimation gets on this forum for their quote about DBZ, there's some modicum of truth to it: a 9-year-old is born every day. Or in some cases, "reborn". DBZ may be a kids' show, but it's been so close to so many hearts all over Japan, America, and quite possibly, even the world.
The normal green was ok to tolerate with the 1st and 2nd forms, but Perfect Cell's is like a neon green, it just sticks out more then before.

Its the network. They dont want to get fined by the FCC or lose revenue due to parents complaints.bkev wrote:Jeez... well, at least it looks less-awful with their Perfect Cell edit. Kai is back 2 back once again...

http://www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/201 ... f-the-air/
Saturday Morning Slam, WWE's children-aimed program on The CW, is officially off the air.
The CW released its schedule for this Saturday's slate of "Vortexx" programming and Saturday Morning Slam is not listed. Instead, Dragon Ball Z Kai will air in the 10:30 a.m. time slot.
The changed had been expected as WWE ceased taping matches for the program last month. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported last week that executives of the network ordered a specific number of episodes, therefore explaining its abrupt hiatus. It is not publicly known whether the show will resume airing.

I'm glad to see JLU still getting respect. I haven't checked since episode 1 though and I'm curious to see how they edit that one outside of gun SFX and innuendos.

I'm glad Z Kai is now 2 episodes a week. It honestly better suits this series.

I hate that Power Rangers Lost Galaxy seems to have fallen off the radar... Oh well. At least Kai has good ratings. It's always nice to know that the kiddies are enjoying Dragon Ball.

I was watching Z Kai today and apparently, they cut out Android 18 kissing Krillin! That's a very important scene later on!

A small, totally non-sexual and non-passionate kiss on the cheek? Out of wedlock?! My child shall not be exposed to that filthy harlot!

....What the hell?
I've defended TheCW in the past, and I still Think that's a dumb edit. Still, remember, there's an uncut version available, TheCW is doing great at giving DBZKai exposure, its all good in the end...

Though some seem to think that the CW edits are in the Uncut version. They're in the minority, yes, but are still misinformed.Cure Dragon 255 wrote:....What the hell?

Yeah. Funimation or Vortexx should advertise the DVD's as uncut. I wonder if Vortexx is allowed to do that.

I doubt Ault Swim has any rights to DBZ and I doubt they are gonna pay for advertising during its Toonami block(where anime fans are gonna congregate on CN the most) that gets overall less ratings.matt0044 wrote:I dunno about Vortexx but what about Adult Swim?Cure Dragon 255 wrote:Yeah.
