Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
So Dabra could donate Ki here, but could he do it in the manga. Dabra is around half if you have him at SSJ2 level or a quarter at SSJ level. They could just use his ki several times until they have enough.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Could someone please explain it to me? Babidi surely wasn`t that stupid in manga, where he clearly could see, that Goku didn`t beat Yakon simply by giving him energy, that`s one of things i don`t like in this specials, randomly nerfing characters, without any intelligent reason (Freeza: max. 200.000 in 1st form, making Dabura give energy, in a middle of a fight)

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
Okay guys, let's play a game. It's called spot the bullshit! I'll go first:
1. Why the fuck did Babidi drain Dabura right before a fight? Why didn't he wait until after at the very least?
2. Why the fuck did Babidi drain SO MUCH of Dabura's energy? Seriously, even Anime Gohan is only about as strong as Android Arc Vegeta or Goku. We are talking a massive drain of Dabura to make him even with Gohan. Like over 90%. Why didn't he just drain the equivalent of Gohan's energy from Dabura which is less than 10% of Dabura's power?
3. Why the fuck did Babidi threaten Dabura with twice the punishment? He already drained over 90% of his energy. What else is he going to drain?
4. Why the fuck did Babidi even drain Dabura in the first place? For punishment? Babidi, Dabura is UNDER MIND CONTROL. He's 100% loyal.
5. Why the fuck did Babidi need Gohan's energy when he could just drain Dabura all along? Drain Dabura 50% (not life threatening in the least), let him nap, eat, and relax, then drain him again. Pod is filled in a week, tops.
6. Why the fuck did Babidi even initiate the Buu Saga if he could just drain Dabura all along? Pretty huge violation of the canon of the series that Salagir claims to love.
7. Why the fuck did Dabura even try to turn Gohan into stone in the first place?
8. Why the fuck did Dabura not tell Babidi how fucking stupid this was? He showed that he's not above that in the main series, when he warned Babidi about Fat Buu.
9. Why the fuck was this story necessary?
I think that's it. For now. Also, now that its's finished, I must say that the Yakon sequence is pure bullshit.
And Freeza being nerfed? Did I miss something?

Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

10. Why the fuck does Dabura's power even work? They needed the energy from good guys, and the demon king is anything but that!

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
That`s the point, nobody know why, he also made Dodoria 18.000, despite it being 21.000-22.000 in manga/anime, he changes stuff randomly, i wouldn`t be surprised, if at one point, he made Chaozu a strongest character, why? Because he wants so, and that should be enough explanation (sorry if this post sounds a little rude)

Freeza Power: as explained by Tzigi, 10 years ago, based on a french mistranlation, I imagined different powerlevels that I personnaly think fit better.
Anyway, I know it's wrong, it was even corrected in new french editions, and I don't use that in DBM.
For the oozaru, the x10 in oozaru form is non-canon and when you look at it, obviously completely wrong.
...Oozaru Nappa (somewhere between 50,000 and 80,000??)

I don't recall it being stated they needed ki from the good guys. The only thing that was stated was that the pure hearted can avoid Babidi's mind control.Shnuki wrote:Hey, I'll join your game!

I wonder why Dabra couldn't just give his ki to Boo in the manga.

Re: Fanmanga - DB Multiverse
He probably could, but since his role is to protect Babidi and act as a bodyguard its pretty stupid to weaken him like that... Especially while in the middle of an attack, like in this special.
There are tons of beings and planets in the universe to collect energy from, but hardly anyone as strong as Dabura to protect Babidi from harm. Hence, why its stupid to use Dabura in that fashion.
In fact, excluding the Saiyans and Buu himself (and the villains of the new movie), there's no one that we know of stronger than Dabura, and that includes Babidi's primary enemy, the Kaioshin. Taking energy from Dabura and making him weaker than Kaioshin, or even close to his power, his primary enemy, is idiotic, even if its not in the middle of an attack.
