While I ultimately prefer the uncut version, I've actually heard several people--even Kanzenshuuers--say that they prefer the Nicktoons-edited version because some of the dialogue in the edited version is better than the uncut version. In certain parts, I'm inclined to agree, and don't blame the OP for wanting to know if the Nicktoons-edited version is available. I also think, on a purely technical level, that the mixing was better in the Nicktoons-edited version (the music seemed like it was mixed way too low for the home video release).
A "rather haggard" translation of a line from Future Gohan in DBZ, provided to FUNimation by Toei:
"To think of fighting that is this fun...so, it was pleasant fight, as many as, therefore is a feeling which is good the fight where."

I agree, but I think the music is fine, it's just that FUNi apparently loves overly loud sound effects these days. I kept switching between the dub and Japanese tracks, and the only difference in audio levels I could perceive was with the sound effects.

It's annoying, because I have to watch it at a relatively low volume so the sound effects aren't too loud, which makes the voices harder to hear sometimes. :|

Please don't be that high and mighty purist. Some people still find that meme funny.

Guys, perhaps you should familiarize yourself with hyperbole.

Agreed. There's a difference between a good-natured ribbing and malicious insults. Though we all know penguintruth's stance on the English version, in this case, he was merely joking around.

The nature of posting on "the intenetz" does make it hard to understand context for some people.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Kai itself was already censored in Japan, though in America they censored it even more.

If you meant per quality:
Standard - DVD
High Def - Blu-ray

The show doesn't always look better on BD, though through Parts 1-4 it's highly enjoyable and a cinematic experience. After Part 4 it's kind of forgettable because of all it's flaws.

That meme was supposed to be funny? I always found it tedious and bland, and definitely not comical.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray
