Super Saiyan God <=> Vegetto?

The Shinjin become Kaio and Kaioshin via lottery, Whis asks Goku if he wants to be Hakaishin after Birus dies, the Kami are just regular beings (usually from the same planet) that are promoted, etc. For all we know, every god in Dragon Ball is an "artificial" one and don't get the divine/godly ki until they take up the positions.

Suspension of disbelief can solve that. SSjG requires more than that. It causes what has been told previously about the DB pantheon to no longer make sense within itself.

Yes, but he is "created" (read: his godliness is bestowed onto him) by someone else in the pantheon, not by holding hands with his buddies and powering up. If holding hands with your buddies and powering up was pleasing to a higher god, and that's how the form gets bestowed, that would make more sense (again, that's what I'm going with for my fanon), but the movie never alludes to that. The movie says random dudes can become gods, without permission from any higher ones/having a formalized "god" education (which is how we've seen it happen pretty much everywhere else in the series), just by being good, holding hands, and powering one of them up.

I guess that kind of makes sense though. Maybe the only way to gain entry into the pantheon without permission from a member is to be good, surrounded by good people, and super powerful?

I think SSJG is on the same level since Goku never absorbed Good ki from 5 other saiyans.

Well a God in DBZ doesn't really have any defining qualities other than divine Ki. This ritual clearly does more than just combine multiple Ki signatures into one being so I guess the Saiyans figured out how to create a divine Ki signature.

Vegetto is divine, remember? For srs. He's a creation of the ultimate weapon of the gods. There is no reason why some shitty ritual invented by mortals should be more effective (either in general, or for fighting a god) than the weapons made by and for the Highest Gods.

By that logic, Ultimate Gohan is also divine, and also has godly ki. Which is entirely false.

It's a fusion method. I don't think it makes Vegetto divine in any way. This ritual also makes for divinity so it's definitely effective. I don't know how mere mortals figured out how to form Divine Ki through a 6 Saiyan ritual, but they did. I would also like to point out that the Kaioshin are not warriors. Saiyans are so it would make sense that their "God" is really really strong.

The ritual that brought out Gohan's hidden powers comes from the wizard that fused with Rou Kaioshin, so it's not divine.

And who said that the Potara are created by Kaioshin?

This. Kaioshin didn't even know about the fusion until Rou Kaoshin told them about it.

Isn't the Rou Kaoshin both a girl and a boy? I know that's off topic....but in the filler(I think it was a filler) a witch stole the Potara from him.

Beers should be higher or Goku lower. Beers 70% was beating Goku, and with Beers max at 100 he'd only be 70 to Goku's 75/74.

Yea Rou Kaioshin was a fusion of an old Witch and Kaioshin, what of it?

Elder Kaioshin identify's himself as a he, so he is male. That or a hermaphrodite.
