Please do not compare a classic retro game loved by gamers to something so inferior.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Doesn't matter, I like it. It's fun, and I don't find it boring. Simple game =/= bad game. Check the original Super Mario Bros.
Too Human is a pretty good game, I haven't finished because I'm at a point where there's a crapload of enemies and I dunno how to beat them, they're too many. The way to make the attacks was innovative, something which I haven't seen on other games.Hellspawn28 wrote:I hope so if they have been working on the game for a year and half. I seen games that have been in the making for years and they end up being total shit like Aliens: Colonial Marines and Too Human.
It's a Genki Dama. lolTheGmGoken wrote:Damn. There goes my Genki Dami dream.
Good to see that Namco Bandai isn't staying quiet and instead putting out their exact thoughts.Hellspawn28 wrote:Tony wrote this on Facebook page:
I feel like what he said is true. Dragon Ball has some of the worst fans on the Internet. If you read the comments, most of them enjoy the samething then anything that is new and won't give it a chance. Red Letter Media is right when it comes to people enjoying eating the same thing over and over again.Oh god, I can't believe this comment I just read on DBZ Battle of gods. It's too much, I need to share the best of it:
"recycling ultimate tenkaichi's system is NEW? There's a damn good reason the trailer didnt show the health bar, combo meter like the ULT FAILURE trailer didnt do as well, they really just want to uck us over to get cheap easy money from people who love DBZ and are desperate, instead, why dont they just make RAGING BLAS 3?! OR BURST LIMIT 2?! MAYBE A BUDOKAI 4,OR TENKAICHI 3?!! FUCK BANDAI!"
My answer: Are you reading yourself? You say we recycle Tenkaichi system...But you request a 3rd raging blast or a fourth Budokai ?!? Come on...
I entirely agree with Tony.
If we were to go by how the fights are on the DBZ series you'd never see the characters because they're too fast.gokugambitoptimus wrote:The gameplay need to be completely different of traditional fighting games, more speed, more forcefulness, more frenetic
The manga/anime haven´t deep combat technics, only powerful punchs, kicks and energy waves
There are deep DBZ games; Super DBZ, Budokai 3, Infinite World. It took me a while to learn how to gather Ki because on IW I just needed to press R1 (I think), I still need to get better on B3 or I'll end up losing and the fun's in knowing how the game is properly played.
Eh, don't listen to the troll. I guess he annoyed Namco Bandai enough to block him.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:SS Bardock isn't a what-if character.
Whether it's canon or not it's down to one's opinion.GogetaSSJ2 wrote:Yes he is. SSJ Bardock is non-canon.
I personally don't care about the whole canon/non-cannon.

Sparking Meteor is not inferior to Super Mario Bros. That's quite frankly absurd to suggest Super Mario Bros is too good to compare to Sparking Meteor

NGS had some great points on how fickle the fanbase can be. If you want something new, specify what you want instead of bitching.

I don't see how SS Bardock is any less of a what-if character than SS3 Trunks or the like.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

@dbboxkaifan I prefer to call it Genki Dami for some reason. Sounds and looks better lol. Just like how I like to call Bardock "Badock"

He has an anime special unlike SSJ3 Mirai Trunks. Episode of Bardock is also considered "canon" by Shueisha.Saiga wrote:I don't see how SS Bardock is any less of a what-if character than SS3 Trunks or the like.

He was in an offical Anime but I agree with you to some degree.Saiga wrote:I don't see how SS Bardock is any less of a what-if character than SS3 Trunks or the like.
Example: I would tell someone that while he doesn't do so in the movies Broly does go LSSJ3 as he did it in an official game and not something like AF or Hoshi.

This game MUST be released this year otherwise 2013 would be boring without any new releases of Dragon Ball Z (except japan If we include j stars victory versus)

Someone hit me up when Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu
, Goten, Buu, and Gohan
become relevant again

And SS3 Trunks/Broli/Veggie were in official games.

Namco-Bandai is under contract to release one game a year, so (unless I'm wrong) I'm sure we'll get it this year.

Jesus H Christ some of those comments.
Sometimes I think that as long as a dbz game allowed you to collect the characters as if they were toys, the fans wouldnt mind if the games were entirely composed of cutscenes glued together by button mashing mini games.
Guys the whole point of "collecting" characters and costumes went out of the window with the digital era. Its irrelevant how many characters a game has if the gameplay isnt sturdy enough to be played skillfully by others. If all that matters is ammount of characters then why not just collect the 3d models and videos of their cutscenes ?

That seems totally agreeable, even on here, over the years about every game announcement thread I've seen is almost full of people picking faults and lacking a true excitement as well as debating lot of random stuff (case in point SSJ Bardock or whatever). I'm sorta confused though, all the fans I see on Youtube and the Facebook page seem to hate this game with a passion already, it's kind of sad really.mysticboy wrote:http://youtu.be/nMn4mowb-YE?t=6m8s

I'm far from fluent in English, but I think you guys should use more words like "this is my opinion" or "I like this better".
I personally don't want to wait for the next game to get the characters that I want. We had way too much games with few characters already. And the next game will probably be released for next-gen consoles. I have no plans of buying PS4 and Xbox One, and I won't change my mind because of one single game.

Please, don't tell me what to do. That's rude. I don't like the lack of unifomity of MUGEN. The commands and the graphics are inevitably too different between characters.dbboxkaifan wrote:The gameplay of Tenkaichi 3 is so unfortunately simplistic that all it takes is pretty much to bash every button in order to win a battle.
If all that takes you to like a DBZ game with a lot of characters then check out mugens.
Sorry, I can't speak English very well, but I'm trying my best.

I'm not comparing BT3 with Mario. I'm just pointing out that a game doesn't have to be complicated to be awesome.
