One thing I didn't like in the Cell Games (anime) is Mr. Satan's filler discophiles' stupidity. For how many times Mr. Satan says something the Z-Senshi and Cell are doing are all "smoke and mirrors" or whatever bogus excuse for why he fucks up (which is like 15 times at least), they all believe him. It has to be seen to be believed.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

DBZ Kai. Yamcha's been murdered by the Cultivar, and Krillin screams in anguish over his friend's corpse.

I love the ending to GT (Or rather, the concept of it)...but, like many other good ideas in GT, it was executed poorly. I know Dan Dan isn't that long of a song, but the clip show could have been a lot better.

I thought that was hilarious to be honest.

IMO DAN DAN is the best Intro and Closing in Dragonball's history. IMO an Dan was not only to good for GT but the intro itself told a better story than DBGT.

On Topic: speaking of DBGT. Every great scene in DBGT was ruined by all the cliffhangers in the closing. Adult Goku with a tail! Everyone backed into their Z outfits and hair style. I felt like Toei trolled us.

DBZ Movie #7: When the three Super Saiya-Jins are transformed, Krillin is in awe and says (in the dub) "Look, it's a Super Saiyan trium(spelling?) Gohan!!" What the heck is a trium? Trio? Is trium even a word?

Bruce Fauconer's music for season 3 (other than the SSJ transformation piece). I like all his other work from Trunks thru Buu. (Not a Kikuchi hater, I love his work too).

DBZ Movie #2: Ocean dub/Peter Kelamis Goku gathering energy for the Genki Dama. It's just a very 80's Keanu Reeves performance, "...the earth, the sky..."

'super saiyan triumph is what he aid. I don't know how that relates to 3 SSJ turning at about the same time.

Usually, "triumph" is pronounced with an "umm" and not a "oomm". It was just weird.

-The dub's DBGT narrator setting up the next episode preview: How he pronounces GT as "Geeeeee... Teeeeee", instead of just "Gee Tee".

When Freeza is about to kill Kuririn, and laughs evilly... but the animation of his mouth looks like he's talking. It just annoys me. Not even if it was a "HA HA" laugh as opposed to the one in the scene would it look right.

Various moments in the Japanese version due to the music. I love and am so familiar with the Kikuchi score that I'm constantly going, "No, come on, why didn't you use this theme?! It would have been perfect!" Admittedly, this is more an issue of me being a big geek than it is an actual problem (since the music in question tends to fit the moment just fine, just not to my liking), but it's one of those things that annoys me because there are so many missed opportunities. For instance, the Piccolo vs. Goku theme from Movie 2 with Piccolo's usual leitmotif... set to Vegeta attacking Cell. Or Gohan's happy training theme playing when he's crying over his lost dinosaur friend. And in another instance, Gohan yelling at Goku to fight like he's trying to kill him, while that same damn bouncy theme plays in the background. :) I understand the placement because it's his training theme, but it just doesn't fit the emotion too well.

I just popped in Movie 7 and checked, Krillin said "Triune" which is another way of saying Trinity or Trio, fitting for what was happening at the moment.

On Topic: The "Pafu-Pafu" or "Puff-Puff" scene in the FUNi dub of Dragon Ball. I am admittedly a pervert and having just come off the manga, FUNi's redub of Dragon Ball Movie 1 and the original version of DB Movie 2, the dialogue just didn't work. Well, it may not be the worst change in the entirety of the dub, but it ruined the scene for me.

Masako Nozawa's Ozaru "roar" in the episode of GT where he transforms to SSJ4. Made me turn off the episode immediately.

Gohan transforming into a Super Sayain 2.

Because in he anime the pacing goes to garbage for the following 3 or so episodes and completely deflates the moment.

Similar to what BlackPaladin mentioned, there's so much things that Abridged has rendered me unable to take seriously anymore. Anything involving Nappa, and a good portion of Krillin's scenes come to mind
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Really? As far as I can see, the two Krillin's are polar opposites in terms of their personalities. One of them is among the most grounded and sensical members of the cast, the other is spouting off constant garbage like TeamThreeStar. One of them has almost never backed down from a challenge no matter how scary it was, the other whines and complains the whole way. One of them has somewhat of a clever wit (though that might be Sonny Strait more than the character himself), the other is a putz who's the butt of almost every single joke.

Honestly, Krillin's pretty cool outside of TFS.

Every single time Goku, Gohan, or Bardock talks in the Japanese anime.

Manga-wise: that scene where Goku says goodbye to Gohan before he goes off to fight Super Buu. Touching at first, but it's completely ruined by the way the plot goes after that.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

To me if you they're similar. Like I'm pretty sure just like Yamcha. Doing the parties with Bulma Krillin get some jokes in as well. They act differ but to me their personas are quite similar but expressed in a differ manner

Now hold on here. I won't deny the pacing is bad at that point, but I can't agree on the actual moment. Gohan transforming and walking as his tears are blown away while Spirit vs Spirt plays--Toei really gave their all on that scene.

If they did that with more of the show, it'd be a whole lot better. :P
