Vegeta getting hit by the Dragon Thunder definitely counts for me. I mean, imagine getting impaled through the shoulder, and then being electrocuted. That had to be beyond painful and one of his worst injuries. Piccolo Jr. blasting through Goku's shoulder also makes me cringe. And of course, Videl getting beaten down. Gohan getting his neck broken wasn't just a cringeworthy scene, it was downright brutal. Gohan wasn't past what, five years old at the time? It would be bad on its own, but the fact that he's such a small child makes it even worse.

Videl vs. Spopovich, definitely. That was just pure torture!!

It's... it's really brutal and very uncomfortable.
This and ReaCoom playing around with Gohan and breaking his neck in the end.
Yeah the Videl scene is especially rough cuz Goku won't let Gohan get in and stop it...the Gohan scene with Recoome was disturbing but the amount of torture that Spopovitch is enjoying administering (such as him grabbing her before she goes out the ring and pulling her back in) makes it the darkest for sure.

Another intense one was Super Buu filling up one of the gunmen and exploding him!

Definitely have to agree with the Videl/Spopovich moment. A lot of the other moments are cringe-worthy, but this one always sticks out the most to me. I mean, every time we see someone else get beat down, they at least are insanely-strong fighters. They're well capable of taking care of themselves against tough opponents, the problem is just that their opponent is that much more insanely strong. With Videl though, sure, she's more capable than her dad and definitely shows some promise...but yeesh. It's just terrible. :?

...Hmm. Come to think of it, I'd also have to throw in the rich fat guy that Cell absorbs before Piccolo's eyes. That's pretty squeamish too, especially since it's the first time we see it.

Probably when Piccolo blew a whole through Goku's shoulder and continued blasting the wound. Sean Schemmel's screams definitely helped bring the pain over the top, too.

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

My personal choice would be Kurirn getting impaled by Freeza. Goodness, that is nauseating, the way he bucks him on his horns.

I'm not a big fan of over the top violence--it has to serve a purpose in the story (like, for example, I think Spopovitch's beating of Videl was too much for what it was going for). But that aforementioned scene really does tell you what a sick, sick freak Freeza is (even in the old dub with that infamously dumb line).
