Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

Vegeta is always breaking limits. Sorry but he personifies the philosophy as much as Goku does. The Kanzenban ending to the manga also implies Vegeta can still get stronger. Toriyama's statement is generic and shouldn't be taken literally. He said everyone can't get stronger. That's bull shit since Goten and Trunks definitely haven't hit a cap.
That's like saying on account of their being able to use the Room of Spirit and Time twice in the past, it is vindication for them to use it 5 more times...50 more times... as many trips as they please. That's untenable, it's not sustainable. There is a limit to how many times they could use the room, there is a limit to how much further they can progress in strength. Using an earlier instance of a time where it were attainable is fundamentally flawed reasoning; they simply hadn't reached the capacity yet. In the final arc, Vegeta had finally reached a limit he couldn't surpass and inevitably conceded to Babidi's magic. It couldn't have been made clearer and yet your attention is on the Freeza arc, the Android arc, the Cell arc; where the story wasn't even near to conclusion? Your perspective is entirely screwed up to the point of denial.
In that quote he doesn't even say "everyone" he mentions the "main characters"; that doesn't have mean he was thinking of Goten & Trunks, it could've just been the main three Saiyans - Goku, Vegeta & Gohan.

No... that's not like saying that. There are multiple examples of characters thinking they hit their limit yet the continue to surpass it. It's flat out stated that the ROSAT can only be used for 2 days. Toriyama's statement could also easily be viewed as they have used all methods of getting exponentially stronger so they can't get exponentially stronger anymore. I'm also not in the mood to have an argument with you all day so we're gonna have to agree to disagree.
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

They hadn't hit their absolute limit because the story had yet to reach its end point - that's something you fail to understand or just intentionally disregard. I already posted a quote where Toriyama states as clear as day that there is a limit to their strength, the debate was already over as far as I'm concerned when you couldn't provide a contradicting statement of his, and merely made the same reiterations, based on an opinion of what the philosophy of DragonBall should be, which frankly I couldn't care less for.
