Androids meet their end at the hands of Buu?
In the timeline as we know it Buu is awakened when Trunks and Goten are just children and that is a good 8/9 years since the original Android Attack so by that scale of time wouldn't Buu have been up and about at some point in the future timeline that Trunks has come back from? If so I wonder how things would then have played out? Would Buu have destroyed the androids along with everything else? Or would the androids have manipulated him for evil in a way babidi was ultimately unsuccessful at doing? How do you think the story would have been affected??

Then perhaps let's have babidi approach the androids and get them on side with the promise of increased power and then they double cross him..?

Damn.. Lol I'm determined to make it work.. What if they're alternatives to Spopovich and Yamu? But obviously used in a different manner I'm guessing

Spopvich and Yamu would be dead. Cyborgs killed a lot of the humans. They would be dead before Babidi can cast their Majin spell. Also how can Babidi cast a spell on 18 or 17's mind if they have none?Revolution wrote:Damn.. Lol I'm determined to make it work.. What if they're alternatives to Spopovich and Yamu? Re: Androids meet there end at the hands of Buu?
They could always go somewhere else with life and then come back to Earth. Or they could wait it out for a couple more generations, where life is abundant.
Re: Androids meet there end at the hands of Buu?
I really doubt on waiting few more generations thing. They'll be hardly any living organism, considering how both the Androids enjoyed themselves with their killing spree.
Buu wouldn't be revived at any point in F.Trunks time-line.
Unless F.Trunks uses the Time-Machine to travel to the past, (just like he did pre-Android Saga) & revives the Z-fighters that were dead in his time-line with the help of their Dragonball's.
That could be an option.
Or else, F.Bulma could simply create a Spaceship to Planet Namek & request for the fallen Z-fighters to be revived using the Namekian Dragonballs.
Either way, Revived Z-fighter's PL's are too insignificant to revive Buu.
Z-Fighters in Buu Saga had SS2 which was major fuel for Buu's ressurection.
The revived-Z fighters in F.Trunk's time-line aren't as strong as their Buu Saga counterparts.

Re: Androids meet there end at the hands of Buu?
Dabra did state that he had checked the Earth a few centuries ago, and that his search concluded that there wouldn't be enough energy to revive Majin Buu. With the #17 and #18 exterminating most of the Z-Warriors, Earth should look WORSE than it was during his last inspection, leading them to search for energy elsewhere. #17 and #18's energy is artificial, not organic, so I doubt it could be used for Buu beyond what's left of their human components. My theory is that Babidi tried but never succeeded in reviving Buu at all.
However, IF he were to be revived, I don't see the Androids being capable of manipulating Buu. I'm pretty sure they already destroyed the last candy factory they could've used to bribe him with.
Gohan might've tried something, like teaming up with Dabra (who was intent on killing Buu because he lost the attention of his beloved Master) to stop him. Or just going straight to killing Babidi before he can release Buu altogether, freeing Dabra who will go back to the Demon Realm, and Gohan can just wipe out all the grunts. I can somehow see that happening. It's just the "Mirai, no-messing-around" mentality, I guess.

I can see Babidi showing up to Earth to retrieve the egg to fuel on another planet. Whether the Androids die or not would be if they encounter Dabura during that small window of time and attacking.

Boo was going to hatch sooner or later. By the time he got to earth, it would be easy for the Androids to befriend him if they're still around. They'd be like malevolent Mr. Satans.
But who would fight them?

Re: Androids meet there end at the hands of Buu?
I doubt they would be anyone left to get energy from.
Unless Babidi went out of his way and gathered energy from other planets and came back to Earth, then I doubt it would happen.
If somehow Buu was released, then yes, the Androids would surely "meet there end".
Lastly, if this was to occur, when Buu goes rogue and kills Babidi, there would be no Z Fighters or anyone to stop him, so he would just roam and kill and eat for ever.
Would soon run out of things to do I think.

Re: Androids meet their end at the hands of Buu?
Yeah, I doubt Babidi would have given up on Buu. He was probably somewhere out in space gathering energy. The whole Trunks vs Dabura and Babidi is certainly probable. It just wouldn't happen the same way. Kaioshin would probably show up, warn Trunks, and Trunks would beat Dabura by unlocking SSJ2. Kaioshin would kill Babidi and Buu's orb would be thrown in the Sun.

Re: Androids meet their end at the hands of Buu?
Wans't stated in the daizenshuu that Buu was never reborn in Trunks timeline due to lack of energy to use to bring him back on Earth? Either way, Babidi and Dabra most likely left Earth and went to another Planet to bring back Buu. I'm pretty sure after Cell and the cyborgs were killed off that Trunks try to restore the damage that was caused by #17 and #18 and help the human race repopulate. Maybe there was another evil threat that happen, but we will never know for sure for now.

Yes, Daizenshuu 7's alternate timeline explanation page says Babidi couldn't revive Boo in Trunks' timeline because there was nobody on Earth with gigantic energy.Hellspawn28 wrote:Wans't stated in the daizenshuu that Buu was never reborn in Trunks timeline due to lack of energy to use to bring him back on Earth?
It's only been 7 years since the Cell Games, as said several times throughout the Boo arc. Though Goten is likewise said to be 7 years old at that point, which is obviously problematic. You could say they're just rounding his age up, but it's still a bit of a squeeze.Revolution wrote:In the timeline as we know it Buu is awakened when Trunks and Goten are just children and that is a good 8/9 years since the original Android Attack

I'm surprised Trunks never went to Namek after killing the Androids and Cell. I figured Trunks would have tried to have Porunga wish everyone back (except Goku of course), unless I'm forgetting if the Namek balls still have that one year deadline.

He wouldn't necessarily know where New Namek is, though. Remember, in the timeline we follow, Goku had to go to Kaio for directions when he went there to get a new set of Dragon Balls. Trunks wouldn't have access to that kind of help.KentalSSJ6 wrote:I'm surprised Trunks never went to Namek after killing the Androids and Cell. Youd think King Kai could have informed Trunks. I mean he can talk to Krillin without meeting him, so Trunks should have been easy to find.Ookalf wrote:He wouldn't necessarily know where New Namek is, though. Maybe he did went to New Namek later on or the Z fighters choose to let the Earth move on without them. We would never know for sure since we don't happen to Trunks after he killed off Cell and the cyborgs.

More like the Androids meet their end at the hands of Dabura.
