Eh, I like that cover.

It's not as awesome as the Japanese Super DBZ cover, but it's cool and grabs your attention.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

I agree.

It does look like Vegeta's attempting to slap him though, but it could've been worse.

This is exactly why Super Dragonball Z will be my first imported DBZ game. America sucks. I've had enough of Atari and their stupid covers. Shin Budokai was the last straw!

You... can use Cell's absorption move... in real-time!

You can fight at the check-in station, and jump through clouds!

I'm SERIOUSLY wetting my pants. I've had my jaw wide open since the opening of the video, and I can't close it. Help.

This game is just crazy! I wasn't expecting ANY of this! Yup, you can always trust the good ol' Street Fighter guys. :D

Well all things considered coverwise ... (Budokai 3) This cover is pretty good. If the game is easy to get along with controlwise, it will be a great game.

Well, it is ok but its not as good as the Japanese & EU cover. I mean, why do Atari have to "fix" the awesome Japanese covers? If it aint broke dont fix it! Oh well, since i live in EU and dont have a PS2 i dont care much.

Famitsu rated it a 31/40. Not bad, not bad at all.

If anyone remembers the score for budokai 3 an tenkaichi, mayby we could compaire.

Also, here is the source:

EDIT:

I found the score for tenkaichi. It was 30/40

(source: http://www.playfrance.com/news-infos-su ... mitsu.html)

and the score for budokai 3. That was also 31/40

Awesome, I can't simply wait for this game. Even though sources say the game is going to come out July 18 here in the states, I hope it comes out earlier than that. I'm thinking July 4-11th.

EDIT: New video on IGN, that showcases the american version of Super DBZ

WOW, the european version better have japanese voices. The american voices in budokai 3 are ok, but here they aren't!

I don't really see the difference, though I like the announcer's voice & BGM they're playing.

Wow... For once I actually disliked the English voices. I guess I'll be importing my copy if the American version doesn't have dual audio.

Hey, a GOOD cover for a US DBZ console game. About damn time. Haven't seen one since Budokai 2. o_O While I like the Japanese covers better, I think it's about time they put some effort into a cover. From the way they handled the cover for Advanced Adventure, it would seem like Atari's now trying again.

'least it's not just Goku slapped onto a black background like Budokai 3 or Shin Budokai. o_o

The EU cover is a cheap cop-out. It looks (almost?) exactly like an old poster I've seen a million times. Pathetic. At least we get something original.

EDIT: Oh, and I think the 'Cell blasted into space, Moon go Boom' stuff is Gohan's 'Ultimate' considering the ones I've seen so far, from that trailer. I mean, if Piccolo can go giant, Vegeta can go SSJ for a big Final Flash (that looks like a Galick Gun almost. :/), and Goku can fire off a Super Spirit Bomb... Well, ya, that's probably Gohan's ultimate.

Let me just say, this game rocks. I've played it for a couple of hours, and I enjoyed it greatly. The loading screens are modeled after the tankoubon, and the actual game feels a lot better than the Budokai games.

I'll post a full review later.

How did you possibly get the game by any chance? Import?

Alright I recently got the latest Monthly Shonen Jump. I noticed a Super DBZ ad but there was something peculiar about it.

http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e232/ ... ure068.jpg
They used the Son Goku model for the Sparking! games in the ad.........wow.
