I'm betting too that you can see those ink splatters through the next page super easily too, given how thin the paper already is.
I hope so as well. It's kinda cool though, I dig misprints and printing errors hahaha. I have a Gone with the wind that has doubled up one page.

Yea, the ink leaked through..

While they're not the best, I really like the size of these. I maaay get the Big Viz for the Piccolo Daimao arc though those might look funny compared to the rest of these lol

I'll bet. :D

I bought a second copy of Funimation single Great Saiyaman - Opening Ceremony. The first copy I bought came with the disc already lose, and it had been ruined by rattling around in the case. This second copy? SAME. PROBLEM. They just pop out of the cheapo keepcase spindle in shipping.
A YouTube channel with no AMVs on it? I know, it's hard to believe.

That happens a lot with my DBZ/GT DVD's when I bought them. I wonder if it's the cases FUNimation uses...I rarely have that happen with other DVDs I buy...

These actually look quite nice (from the outside, at least). Love the inclusion of the Kanzenban's spine art. I must say, I'm quite tempted to pick these up. I've started trucking through the One Piece versions of these, and I do like how easy it is to read these and open them up, whereas with the Viz-Big Volumes, I'm scared of wrecking them by opening them too wide whilst trying to read the inside panels and they're quite heavy, so I don't like to take them around with me. I like how these 'omnibus' volumes are more condensed and I'm not afraid of tossing them around or taking them places, etc. Overall, I do like the idea of budget releases, but since I'm also a hardcore fan, I get stuck with these decisions all the time. I already own a decent chunk of the Viz-Big volumes too (if that wasn't obvious) Throw in the fact that these things are uncut and have cover art from the Kanzenban, and it just makes wanna cry since I can't really justify having both of them. The idea of having one set of Manga to read and one to just sit on the shelf sounds silly to me...so I guess I'm not that hardcore after all. I also plan on picking up the Full Colour Comics next year, but those are different enough...perhaps I'll consider getting the "Dragon Ball" portion of the story since there's a lot more censorship going on in those (particularly the earlier volumes), but then Volume 16 will be thrown in with Volumes 1 and 2 of "DBZ" because they're sticking with the original---- ARGH, fuck you Viz. :)

Why make a budget release with all the stuff we want in a collector's edition?

A friend of mine who runs a anime and manga shop recently ordered these for me. Just got them today and I'm very satisfied with them.

Those are too cool! I'd have a hard time choosing which one to use each time lol think the sideways Shen Long is my fav, which is yours?

What's the design on the clear glass one I can't discern what it is?

I'm not sure what the tea mug/cups (receptacles?) are called in Japan. They're sort of the shape of mugs, but smaller and without handles.

Was your Advanced Adventure a Japanese copy? Also, have you ever seen a copy of The Legacy of Goku II International (the Japanese ver. of TLoG2) for GBA?

Yep, my AA is a JPN copy too.

Oh my gawd, the Japanese TLOG2 is so freakin' gorgeous!

I'm thinking about getting one of them now.

Edit: I bought a DS Lite recently specifically just to play GBA games, but if wanted then DS at any time too. I already have a 2DS which is compatible with 3DS and DS games.

I'd get it myself if I was fluent in Japanese (I know a bit of katakana but it's nothing to write home about). I'd be happy to own LoG2 in any form. Or Advanced Adventure.

I've still got my Europe version of both. Played through Advance Adventure again recently. I like how you can play though as different characters like Oolong and Drum.

Where can us common folk acquire these amazing mugs/glasses?

Man, that's one ugly drawing of Cell. Why does it seem like so many artists have such a hard time drawing his face?

I'm not seeing it. Cell looks fine to me. Well... his eyes seem kinda off, but that's about it.
