as well as Dragon Ball Z Super Exciting Guide Story Volume...here's hoping I get the character volume for Christmas!

PS although they're super small the detail and picture quality is top notch
Very nice! Would love to have more of the guidebooks. But, at Christmas, I'm getting Dragon Ball Seasons 1-5 (Blue Bricks), Dragon Ball Movies 1-4, Dragon Ball Z Movies 1-9 (Own 10-13 already), and the non Dragon Ball stuff, Breaking Bad Season 1-5-Final, and South Park Season 16.

So, other than 'Sup! Son Goku and Friends Return, Episode of Bardock and Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans. I will legally own all of the Dragon Ball anime.

I will post pictures once I get it and show the whole collection.

Purchased DRAGON BALL Z: ROCK THE DRAGON EDITION.

Image

Always wanted to own the Ocean Dub DBZ and especially the films with its dub so this is a perfect release. People say it would've been better if it were uncut but that'd mean FUNimation would need to include Japanese audio + Eng dub or FUNimation dub for the missing parts and we all know that'd be a fuck up, i.e, people moaning.

Sent a message to the seller saying to declare it as a Gift so I won't have to pay the damn customs for it.

This has been the most Dragon Ball stuff (DBGT Collection + DBZ RtDE) I've bought since 2012.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

People want it uncut for the MOVIES, not for the series itself.

Mayuri Kurotsuchi wrote:"In this world, nothing perfect exists. It may be a cliche after all but it's the way things are. That's precisely why ordinary men pursue the concept of perfection, it's infatuation. But ultimately I have to ask myself "What is the true meaning of being perfect?" and the answer I came up with was nothing. Not one thing. The truth of the matter is I despise perfection! If something is truly perfect, that's IT! The bottom line becomes there is no room for imagination! No space for intelligence or ability or improvement! Do you understand? To men of science like us, perfection is a dead end, a condition of hopelessness. Always strive to be better than anything that came before you but not perfect! Scientist's agonize over the attempt to achieve perfection! That's the kind of creatures we are! We take joy in trying to exceed our grasp, in trying to reach for something that in the end, we have to admit may in fact be unreachable!"

Yeah there IS no uncut version. That's exactly what it was originally produced like (minus those itty bitty redubbings). FUNimation's later version was produced uncut (semantics on the meaning of "uncut" aside) and then edited. Much like Ocean group's Gundam Wing, it was edited for tv.
A YouTube channel with no AMVs on it? I know, it's hard to believe.

I think he's referring to instances like, "Oh, this isn't good. I smell death in the air." Lines like that were re-dubbed after those episodes' initial broadcast (see podcast #66, I think). Except I'm pretty sure they were on the Rock the Dragon set.

I always wanted to own and play this game so I hope I didn't commit a mistake buying it. It cost me £24.50 in total.

The PS1 version was only available in Japanese and seeing how Saturn's got the better version out of the two I went with Sega.

I love that cover! :D
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128
Still recording Toonami broadcasts on VHS after all these years!

You have a Saturn, you automatically win this thread.

DBGT Boxset 3-pack arrived today.
Edit: Just bought Dragon Ball GT: The Lost Episodes (Starter Set) for CDN $51.03 and now it's out of stock, phew, I was lucky otherwise I'd have to pay the same or more for the same but used.

I think it's good, it had some great perspective on cultures. At a few points it is very repetitive but I over look that as I overall enjoyed it. Good easy read with some thought provoking stuff I gave it 5 stars on Amazon
"You might think you know everything there is to know about me, but really, you're not even CLOSE."

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy." ~ Sir Winston Chruchill / Dragon Ball Z in a nutshell

How I enjoy the anime:

I got it for Christmas last year and even though I noticed a few minor errors (grammar/typos; it's been a while so I don't remember details), I very much enjoyed reading it.
