Are you guys really taking glitches from the demo as an indicator of the final game? You know that the build the demo is based on could be from months ago, right? Does Namco Bandai have to flash a gigantic
THIS IS A PRODUCT CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT splash screen for you guys to understand that? This is why developers and publishers are against making demos. They've been shown to hurt sales, shift resources away from developing the final game, and are not always indicative of the final product. If these glitches are still in the shipped release, fair game, but if they're not are you guys going to think NBGI and Artdink changed that because of some guy on Youtube or because the demo build is old?

They probably had in mind the console version first in mind because as we all know Vita is a failure which lacks of games and support from developers, but luckily Namco Bandai is willing to release this game on this near-dead handheld.
Namco Bandai needs to hire a dev to produce a Dragon Ball (DB/DBGT/DBH) for the 3DS which can be released everywhere and not just for the Japanese audience -- makes me wish 2DS/3DS was already softmodded so I could active the Region Free feature and import
Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission. The money's on 3DS not Vita.
This isn't a Vita thread so I won't go into details, but in Japan (which is the region this game's developer and publisher are from) the platform has no problems with developer support, and it's far from "near-dead".
Now that that's been taken care of, you have some logic issues here. Say Vita is "near-dead", wouldn't it have made sense to move what was conceived as a Vita exclusive to PS3, and 360? Yes, it would have.
I don't know what 3DS has to do this with this release. Artdink aren't doing a Vita version instead of a 3DS version, because that machine is too weak to handle a port. If a publisher can make money on Vita with a cheap and simple port, they're going to attempt to do so. 3DS outselling it by a wide margin won't change that.
I don't think Vita was the lead platform for Battle of Z's development btw. You'll notice that Namco Bandai has kind of shied away from talking about that version of the game entirely, which is usually a good indicator that it was going to be a low quality port. Thankfully, it isn't. Though it is subnative res, so technically the Vita version is doing some upscaling. The truth of the matter is that Battle of Z is likely just a low budget game that has managed to scale down well on Vita. If BOZ was intended to be on Vita, and then made multi-platform, where is the game that was supposed to come out after Spike's stuff?
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.
