It seems like it's an episode from the Super 17 saga.

And no offense but you should really read the forum rules or else you'll get banned.

Actually I think that episode comes from the Evil Dragon saga; Vegeta is getting pumped to go fight Yi Xing Long, and Bulma stops him by saying he's not strong enough to keep up with them. Then Bulma convinces him to stay by the whole SSJ4 thing.

I think that's episode 55. Its more of a flashback/filler episode than anything else.
On hiatus.

That would be the episode where Goku is fighting Suu ShenLong , Vegeta senses them fighting and Bulma stops him by saying he is'nt strong enough to join in. She then goes on to tell him about how she's making a machine to help him become a SSJ4.
It is impossible to improve upon perfection.

Aren't they all filler episodes?

Expect that "filler episode" really means(within the context of Dragonball) "an episode that is made to keep the anime from getting ahead of the manga". Since there is no GT manga, none of the episodes of that series is filler as we usually think of it.

Hey wait, there's your filler-less Dragonball series right there! :P

HAHAHA! So true!

I've always liked that episode of GT though. Maybe it's just because the majority of it is flashbacks to the Goku vs. Vegeta fight of early Z.

I'm lukewarm on the episode myself actually. On one hand, it's nice to see some focus on Vegeta, who's been kinda just in the background for most of the series up to that point(his biggest part up to that point was while possesed by Baby), and to see some of his thoughts on things. On the other hand, I really dislike flashback shows in general and feel they do nothing but slow things down.
