More and more I get the idea we should be thinking this is Dabra's World or his requested spot at the very least.
I do like the colors.. fits Dabra very well.. aren't they close to this in the anime?
I think I recall the lake being pink/red/purple.

It looks pretty much the same to me, although I think the lake was a pinkish-red instead of purple. I may be confusing it with the lake in Hell in Movie 12 though.

I do like the color scheme the anime introduced for this place, fits Dabra perfectly.
On another note I like the fact that they are releasing these. One of my major concerns was, if the coloring would take away that intensity you get from the fight scenes, when they are in black & White. I can't come to a conclusion as of yet, but so far they look very good.

So, uh... Was it actually ever stated somewhere where does the battle between Gohan and Dabura actually takes place? Is it some random planet or the demon world? I don't think it was ever stated in the manga and I still haven't seen the corresponding episodes in Japanese.


And speaking about the colors, weren't Dabura's clothes black in some of Toriyama's illustrations? Blue outfit makes his design a little less generic, but black did look better on him.

I know he has a black design on the back of Kanzenban 30, but I believe the blue design is how Toriyama first coloured him (the colour chapter where Dabra shows up on level 3 and Gohan challenges him).

A couple of things to note in these chapter previews. The first is another coloring mistake. It seems history was doomed to repeat itself: One of Vegeta's gloves was colored the same color as his skin, as someone pointed out once before. The second has more to do with the digital edition. I guess during the clean-up and coloring process, Piccolo's text in his speech bubble was accidentally removed and never replaced. The kanzenban is provided for comparison.

Mr. Satan's text inside his large speech bubbles is awfully small and I thought it was a sizing issue, but the same problem is in the kanzenban (and presumably the tankobon before it as well). The second is another minor case of the text in someone's speech bubble mysteriously going missing. The kanzenban is provided for comparison for both images.

I'd imagine that is deliberate, because Mr. Satan is supposed to be yelling very quietly here(because he doesn't want to fight Buu), whereas his driver yells very loudly.
So the text was probably small in Mr. Satan's speech bubbles to contrast it with the big text in the driver's speech bubbles.
Though that is just my guess.
