That's a damn shame. It's like they wanted to handle this in the worst way possible - give it to Bardock, with red sparks, and SS1 hairstyle.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

First the neglected lightning in new animations and now red sparks? Geez how hard is it to give the respective forms their respective attributes.

My Broly comment was a joke but I wouldn't mind Ssj3 Goten and SSj4 Gohan if someone has to get ssj4.

I hope we will get a manga about this again, and we will find out that this is an alternative Super Saiyan 2 or something (like Broli's alternative SS3). I mean... how can they be so stupid with the design? :|

At least they got Bardock's card type right, Bs, stands for Bullshit, right?
What's with Kuriza's attack gimmick? I thought that gimmick was for fusions, is it for team attacks?
Edit: Nevermind, I just confirmed it, it's the team attack.

Looking at Super Saiyan "Two" Bardock, all I can think is, "lazy, lazy, lazy."

And here I was hoping it'd be Super Saiyan 4 they gave him. He's got the Super Saiyan, he's still got his tail... all the necessary pieces are there. He could have one-upped Vegeta in GT by skipping Super Saiyan 2 AND 3.

Poor Bardock... what have they done to you? :|

I'm too busy looking at Kuriza's long face to care about SSJ2 Bardock. I'm not the only one who thinks it doesn't fit, right?

Shouldn't there be something like a power requirement for Super Saiyan 4, or even Golden Oozaru? I mean:
  • Super Saiyan required battle power above the standard level.
  • Super Saiyan Grade 2 & Grade 3 required intense training.
  • Super Saiyan 2 also required more intense training.
  • Super Saiyan 3 required even more intense training, and had even more difficulty to transform.
  • Super Saiyan God, while it can be acquired easily, it only lasts for less than 5 minutes, and to keep the power permanently one has to be a fighting genius, and must have a hard fight to do so.
Now, Golden Oozaru grants power beyond Super Saiyan 3, and Super Saiyan 4 grants even more power. It sounds too cheap for it to only require a tail & Super Saiyan.

When was any of this ever stated officially?

For Super Saiyan, it was stated in D7. For SSG2, SSG3, and SS3, it's what we see in the series. For God, it's what we see in the movie.

But my bad on SS2. I misremembered this:
Herms (SEG: Story Volume) wrote:Some things of interest is that it describes Gohan’s training as being based mostly on strengthening and learning to control his ki, while Vegeta’s training is described as training his muscles to the limit. And as a result of Vegeta’s training, it says he awakened to Super Saiyan 2, so that’s another data point in that debate (Daizenshuu 7 also says Vegeta acquired Super Saiyan 2 through training).
I thought it was stated that SS2 requires the muscles to be trained to their limits, but it actually says that it was just Vegeta that did it like this, while Gohan did it through ki training. But it still, isn't easy to obtain, and requires hard training.

Okay, so the time is here. Card pack in my signature is updated for the most recent promos and JM2 releases.

The top left movie is new and features a tidbit with Super Saiyan 2 Bardock, 100% confirming that they just reused his Super Saiyan model, scouter and all. (Will update with a Youtube link if it makes it there): http://www.carddass.com/dbh/movie/

Also, JM2 Desktop wallpaper (not that great this time around):

SSJ2 Bardock... (with SSJ hair lol). Dragon Ball Heroes is going all out with these Super Saiyans. Which Saiyan isn't super at this point? It's ridiculous.

I think his point was that that at least for Son Goku there are clear differences between SSJ1 and SSJ2.

Ya know, I'm actually surprised that the company behind Heroes managed to throw yet another curve ball but this time with something as simple as SSJ2. Keep his regular SSJ hair and slap on red electricity.. wow.

I have a question though, What's been everybody's favorite "What-If" thus far? Just curious.
