I'm fine with Bart's laugh and Krusty's laugh because they are funny. Nadolny's laugh isn't cute or funny. Regardless of how much she tried, she's not very talented, but at least you articulated your thoughts well.

It's not just that laugh (it's a big part of it) but it's the inflection of her voice. The constant up and down, which is supposed to sound cute, but always makes Goku sound almost like he's asking a question.
I actually think Nadolny did great for Goku(Her voice in video games are awesome and better than the anime). Captures Goku's high spirit and wild personality. It also captures his fighting side. I find her laugh with Goku adorable. Shit always gets to me.
Well, I don't know how many ways to say I disagree. Capture would imply she's a good actress, but nothing in her performance is remotely natural.
ignorant hatred
In what way is it "ignorant hatred"? What have I ignored? I'm not saying it's exactly like Krusty, but it's hard to convey in words what about her laugh I find annoying. If we were talking than I could verbalize it far better. It's like a combination of Krusty and Woody Woodpecker, it's not a giggle.

She was a good voice actor for Goku. Don't see why she can't be a one hit wonder(Meaning One good voice and the rest sucks).

I'm not saying you can't have one good voice, but she didn't. The sound of her voice just bothers me and I don't understand why SHE is the best English voice for Goku. What about Saffron? Far better actress and excellent in the role, even if it for such a short tenure.

I wish I could hear what others are hearing because I don't hear anything screechy about Colleen's voice. I'll admit she sounds a little feminine for even a really young boy, but she's an excellent actress.

If I had to make a simile, I'd say Colleen's and Saffron's voices are like a juice drink, whereas Nadolny's is like vodka.

Everyone here knows they're played by women, but there's "tv boy" voices, and Colleen sounds like she's PLAYING a hyper young woman to ME. I know Masako Nowaza is a woman, but her Goku sounds like a boy to me and so does Nadolnly's Goku. I just gave that example of my next door neighbor having the same laugh when he was young. And grew up with boys that had a much more gravely voice than Goku. One of them had that voice when I met him when I was seven. I couldn't understand him, so I had to keep asking my friend what he was saying lots of the time. Although it didn't really matter, just as long as they were good at sports! Even Mickey Mouse, who has such a high voice, sounds like a guy to me. I think Colleen's sounds like a hyper young woman.

I find the laugh really cute and so do many. That's your opinion. The English dub of Dragonball played up the comedy a lot, so I think it fits.

Saffron is overrated honestly. Don't see him as a good voice. He's boring and sound like he's bout to give up on life when he voices Goku. Even if she(He?) a better actor that Steph. Steph is a one hit wonder and she NAILED Goku. Collen isn't good for Goku. Voice just doesn't capture the fighting and wild side of Goku. Perhaps the pure heart side though. Saying Nadolny is Vodka is quite accurate. Since my mother and myself LOVE vodka.

I don't feel like I've heard enough attempts at the role done in English for me to answer this question with any amount of reliability. When has Colleen Clinkenbeard played Goku before anyway? Movie 1 redub? (haven't seen it) Her Gohan voice was good, but she'd have to retool her speech patterns a lot to make a good English adaption of Goku.

Okay, but I've never met this friend so I can't comment. Nadolny sounds feminine as well. It wouldn't matter anyways because if I had to choose between an actress who sounded a little feminine but can act vs an actress that sounds a tad more like a boy

That laugh of Nadolny's is almost as annoying as Fran Drescher's or Janice Lipman Goralnik (nee Hosenstein) but without being funny.

I know you hate it. Everyone here can read through and see you hate it. I just responded because you asked me. Why are you still repeating how you hate it? Every time someone answers the topic with Nadolny as their favorite Goku, you have to tell them it's bad, or he has a Krusty laugh, or it makes "your ears bleed", or the voice is too gravely, or she's a bad actress. You already asked a couple of people for their reasoning since September, but you keep hounding everyone else.

Mea culpa. Okay, but in every thread about a similar topic, the same people are gonna chime in with their reasons. Don't take it personally. I didn't insult you.

You've been keeping track?

It was only four pages, so I just started from the beginning just to see what others thought. Then I answered.

Nadolny laugh sounds natural honestly. Anything better than this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CTa6nKt5rmg . That laugh while funny seems fucking weird to me.

I seriously can't see how anyone(I understand opinions) can say that Nadolny's Goku ain't good. I mean even the laugh in that video sounds so wild-boy like.

It sounds like someone trying to sound "wild-boy like". Nozawa's laugh is just a natural life-loving laugh.

The laugh in the video did sound weird, but it sounded more pleasing than the Krusty/Woody Woodpecker laugh.

Some folks like different things. For example, heard of some guys who prefer the first dub of Akira to the second dub. (Have only seen the second, and guys I know who've seen both usually say they prefer the second).

Given more time with the character she could have been really good with the role, sadly it wasn't meant to be.

As for my favorite ENG Kid Goku I'd have to give that to Coleen Clinkenbeard.

Have to go with Nadolny, she was spot on as Goku. Henderson wasn't bad either, but I prefer her voice for Gohan more.

Have you actually seen the Harmony gold dub of Dragon Ball firsthand or are you just basing this "completely inaccurate dub" line on what you've read on the internet, because I can tell you for a fact the Harmony Gold dub of Dragon Ball is more accurate then you might think, if you disregard the name changes and compare Harmony Gold's dub script to the original Japanese version, the scripting is a lot more faithful to the original Japanese source (Harmony Gold did take some liberties at times but even then it was still very faithful) than FUNimation's dub which when considering FUNi's dub came about 6-7 years later that's saying a lot, I apologize if it seems like I'm coming off as a bit of an ass about this, but I'm getting sick and tired of people saying something that factually isn't true similar to how Sailor Moon fans keep saying that the Sailor Moon monstrosity that Toonmakers pitched to Toei while they were competing with DIC for the rights to Sailor Moon was pitched by Saban Entertainment even when clear evidence to the contrary is staring them right in the face.
If anyone has any of the DB/DBZ/DBGT or Maho Tsuaki Sally Japanese single DVD's that they'd be interested in selling send me a PM and I'll see if we can work something out. ;).
