Dragon Ball Z for Kinect 49/10
Dragon Ball Z: Infinite World 48/10
Dragon Ball Sagas 48/100
Dragon Ball Z: Taiketsu 40/100
Dragon Ball: Evolution - The Video Game 28/100
Dragon Ball: Ultimate Battle 22 25/100

The only one on the list that I didn't play was Infinite World. I still think UB22 is still the worst DBZ game ever. I know some people like it for the nostalgia, but sometimes you have to take off your nostalgia glasses.
Thanks. I could never find any statistics of Taiketsu on Metacritic.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Even though I never played it, I would probably enjoy the Dragon Ball Evolution game.

Budokai 2 is my favourite DBZ game, being my first. I liked the Storymode for its set up. It required actual thinking, allowed freedom and incorprated some RTS elements. People hated it just for the fact that the story mode wasnt its archaic traditional arcade style.

Of course iy could have been better. I have no idea why you Fight Freeza and the Ginyu Force before Vegeta let alone on a Snowy Red Ribbon Base.
DBZ Mick wrote:Most critics barely played it. In terms of gameplay, it's the best of the Budokai PS2 games.
A lot of Budokai 3 fanboys usually said that and moaned about them taking out Dragon Rush and Hypermode even though it was the most irritating feature in the game unti l Burst limit fixed it. IW had the best gameplay, it felt the most fluid and wasnt as restrictingly stiff as Budokai 3 was. It was just rushed. So bad that it was incredibly broken and unfinished.
Zephyr wrote:The fandom's collective fetishizing of "moments" is also ridiculous to me. No, not everyone needs a fucking "shine" moment. If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

The critically panned Dragon Ball video game that I enjoy is GT Final Bout. I understand and am aware of how poor the mechanics in the game are but the music, intro animation, and character selection bring me just way too much nostalgia to ignore it, even to this day.

Putting in that secret code at the start menu and having SSJ4 Goku stare you down with his Kamehameha charging just can't be beat.

I mean, whether Jesus is real or not, he - he's had a bigger impact on the world than any of us have. And the same can be said for Bugs Bunny and - and Superman and Harry Potter. They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.
