Speaking of kids in DB. Anyone find it strange that when the kids...are...kids they're strong and oped. Everyone is like "WHAT THE FUCK!" but then they get replace with more kids. The cycle continues....

Almost every kid in DB was extremely powerful (Goku, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, Pan, Arale). Well, okay, maybe not Kid Chichi.

Kid Chi Chi could beat up a fight with Videl debatable. Kinda strong for a girl like Chi Chi. I could you forget OOB!?

Well, in the anime, she was shown exerting too much strength and accidentally slapping him to a tree (Goku slapping Chi-Chi into that boulder must have been revenge) which actually hurt him. She was also shown trading blow-for-blow with Kid Goku in a play date.
Not to mention she reached a battle power of 130 from training with a guy (with no super powers) who is not even half that level in just 4 years.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about
your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

I just realized that Kid Gohan and Kid Chi-Chi's first victories were both against a dinosaur.

...Huh.
I'm not sure which dino to feel worse for. At least Gohan actually did something with the one he kept beating (eating meat from it's tail) and it gets to live, but Chi Chi's just gets killed and blown up.

I'm not that much of a fan of Kid Chi-Chi because she was too whiny in my opinion. I think Teenage Chi-Chi is the real deal because she's the most likable version of Chi-Chi.

I think Buu arc Chichi is the most likeable. Teenage Chichi gets engaged to a guy who clearly isn't in love with her, and even when he tells her he didn't know what she meant by marriage and then agrees to marry her out of obligation, she still wants to do so.

Anime only did he tell her. In the manga, he kept his thoughts to himself.

I respect your opinion. The only reason I like Teen Chi-Chi so much, is because she does have q temper, but it's more toned down than it is in DBZ. Buu Arc Chi-Chi has a similar personality as Teen Chi-Chi, so I can see why you'd like her. My favorite Chi-chi scene in the Buu Arc is when
she gets into an argument with Videl.

I wish DBZ had ended at Freeza.
It would've avoided going into the "terrible zone" in my eyes and would've simply been a bad anime/manga. There really was no reason for the Cell and Buu arcs to exist, anyway.

For me, the likability chain is like this:
Future Bulma ----> Teen/Young Adult Chi-Chi ----> Majin Boo Saga Bulma = Cell/Majin Boo Saga Chi-Chi ----> Cell Saga Bulma ----> Loli Chi-Chi ----> Dragon Ball Bulma ----> Saiyan Saga Bulma = Saiyan/Namek/Freeza Saga Chi-Chi ---- *HUMONGOUS GAP*----> Namek/Freeza Saga Bulma

There's no "reason" for Dragon Ball to exist at all. For that matter, there's no "reason" for anime or manga to exist in general. And why stop there? Entertainment in general doesn't really have a "reason" to exist.

Except, you know, to have fun. I know, I know, that's a hard thing to grasp. But sometimes, people don't need a deep, compelling story, or some well written epic written by esteemed authors. Sometimes, people just want to read or watch a fun story. Which is something that you need to realize, and stop bitching and moaning about. We get it. You think Dragon Ball is bad. Good for you. But, and you don't seem to understand this, neither you, nor whatever you perceive as being the general consensus, don't get to decide what's "good" or "fun." It's not your call, or anybody else's.

Another unpopular opinion I have is that I am not a huge fan of the villains. I am aware of how popular Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu (well, except for Kid Buu) are, but I can't bring myself to like them.
I noticed the only villains of the whole Dragonball franchise I love is the Red Ribbon Army. The only Buu I don't mind is Kid Buu because he's crazy awesome and he was the only villain to succeed in blowing up the planet.

SSJ was a big let-down. I mean, surely the Avatar of death incarnate could come by in a better form than someone with brylcreem and Blonde hair dye (I'm thinking something like Old Testament Angels scary, and NOT the harpists who have wings and halos). When Goku Transformed on Namek, he should have been something on the level of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse - a Force of nature that would devastate anything it came across.

I don't know. Maybe its' because some scenes with them can be so boring. I mean, I watch the show for the heroes and the supporting cast.

I love heroes as well, but a great antagonist elevates the material further. How heroic is Goku if he's not fighting someone that challenges him?

I think you forgot another "HUMONGOUS GAP" after Saiyan/Namek/Freeza Saga Chi-Chi. LOL
Anyway, here's an unpopular opinion: I find Kid Buu the most terrifing/frightening of all the villains. Actually I'd have to go with: Kid Buu>Freeza>Cell>Vegeta>Super Buu/Pure Buu/ETC > Fat Buu. This just being the main villains in order of the most menacing off of the top of my head. (Not best)
Just my opinions of course...

I gotta agree with you. Even though I'm not a big fan of the villains, the show won't be the same without them.
Another unpopular opinion of mine is that I don't mind Kid Gohan's whining because, well, he's just a
child. I mean, he went through things normal 4 year olds shouldn't have gone through.
