To be honest. I'm kinda aggravated that there is going to be new scenes. while yeah it's cool! At the same time I wished they had included them in my Battle of Gods boxset that I got from Japan. as a crazy Dragonball collector I like to have everything! Now I find out there's new scenes that's being added to the movie? Grrrrrr Guess I'll have to download them, burn them to dvd and stick em the box set haha

Brasilian? In no way is there such a language as that, although it exists Portuguese of Brazil (the authentic being from Portugal) which is what you should have used instead. Latino is also another issue but I digress.

Come on FUNimation announce it already on BD/DVD.

If you can say "the American dub" to infer FUNimation's dub as opposed to, say, the alternate English dubs produced primarily for the UK market, I see absolutely no problem with referring to the "Latino" dub to describe the Mexican-Spanish dub and the "Brazilian" dub to describe the Brazilian-Portuguese dub.

I'd love it if it came to pass, and even more so if in the next feature Toei got their troll-face on and depicted them as kids again as part of a recurring joke.

There's the Ocean Group dub which aired in US so saying "American dub" only sometimes just isn't sufficient, although most of the time that's referred as "Ocean Dub" which everyone knows it better for.

Well, this is exciting. I don't think I've ever said this about Dragon Ball before, but I hope the fight scenes are extended. I'm not a fan of long fights, but in BoG it felt like they were trying to squash down the action to stick to 85 minutes. Hopefully the new version will be released on DVD. Perhaps the reason that nothing has happened on the US scene yet is that they've been waiting to dub the extended version?

Nothing has been mentioned so far. If we get the same 10-15 minutes that the One Piece film did, for example, then we'll be right around 100 minutes. If we are EXTREMELY lucky and get everything that was cut during the story board process, we may end up over 120 minutes. Will be an interesting waiting game.

I'm severely conflicted on this though. New animation makes me excited, but I'm worried that we won't get said animation on DVD here, and that worries me. I really want to get the complete package, dammit! Regardless though, I'm still super excited to see what the scenes turn out to be. Since we know it's at least dealing with Pilaf's crew, I'm assuming it's going to mostly be them...but I would really like it if we got to see some of that 'everyone else runs to help Goku' stuff, though I'm hard pressed to figure out how you'd slide such scenes into place and make it not seem jarring.

Also, I swear to Kami, Dende, Super-Kami-Guru, HFIL, and Enma himself that if this new scenes make me re-consider stuff going forward on my fic again...

What would make you think that exactly? I'm thinking if anything gives us the Kanzenban ending animated, it'll probably be the final episode of Boo Kai.

I think that would feel really out of place and tacked-on. BoG doesn't really have anything to do with Uub.

People who are expecting more action scenes are being absurd.

The whole movie is full of quirky DB humor with characters that can destroy planets hanging out, even in between world-threatening combat. The main antagonist spends a lot of time just chowing down on the local delights. While he threatens to destroy the world. And means it.

The possibility that the extra scenes are going to be comedic are pretty high.

The people who were already disappointed with the movie for what they perceived a lack of serious action are likely going to likewise be disappointed with the extra scenes. What are they expecting from the extra scenes, Broly to appear?
