Why do I get the feeling that Nail is about to do the same 'Haha, joke's on you Freeza' schtick that he did in the main universe...only things work out much more badly this time.

I'm afraid, that Piccolo will be revived, only to be killed by Ginyu Force/Freeza, so, it won`t be Kuririn who screwed up this universe, but Gohan, with his stupid decision, to attack Zarbon.

I'd like to think he was referring to the will of the Dragon Balls' creator as opposed to just lying to Freeza in the hopes he won't try to get his wish anyway. I feel somewhat bad for laughing, though.

I mean, everyone else is all "Yeah! Everything went according to plan", all patting themselves on the back while Nail is getting disintegrated.

Hmm...is it possible that Nail is still alive for the moment? I can't tell if that panel is supposed to suggest him rolling into the water to escape, or if he just kinda got knocked away from the explosion and his corpse just fell into the water.

Hmmmm...It could be both,but I think that he is dead.

As per the Shonen rule, if a character is not seen drawing last breath or being completely annihilated, he/she is more than likely alive. It'd be pretty unnecessary to show his dead body falling into the water, so my gut tells me he's barely clinging onto dear life.

Nail should have just told Freeza the truth. "Keep me alive if you want to be able to make your wishes in Namekian." And then just screw up the wish on purpose.

That's pretty much what makes me question it in the first place, yeah. Seems kind of pointless to show his body flopping into the water unless he was still alive.

Maybe they all still escape? And it's just that Frieza's not dead yet by the time the tournament begins? I can see that.

EDIT: Or, wait a minute...perhaps Frieza just decides "ah, screw it", and just blows up the planet. Then, Goku sees what happens, goes Super Saiyan to attack Frieza...but is immediately put down. Yeah...that's another possibility.

Looking at page 79, it`s funny how Recoome boast about slaughtering Namekians, while at point of Ginyu Force arrive, there are only two Namekians left, both are non fighters.
