I hope I'm not the youngest one, I got into the series in 1993 when I was 4 years old!

I think it was Fall 1999 for me. I started watching Dragon Ball Z on Toonami because it was on after (I think) Sailor Moon which I was really into. I guess I was 7 at the time.

Re: At what age did you start watching the series?
It was around 1996 or 1997 when I was around 4 or 5. I can't pinpoint the exact time when I was first introduced to DB but it was around that general period. The first DB related thing I saw was the Japanese version of Final Bout. Friend of my brother, who happened to have been originally from Japan, would bring it over and we'd have beam struggles all day long.
I wasn't familiar with the anime at all and I remember him bringing over some videotaped broadcasts of DBZ from time to time. The only reason I even had an inkling of what was going on was because the guy actually would take the time to describe what was happening on screen and fill me in with my brother.
DB didn't really hit me until I was seven or eight when it finally hit Toonami and they were speaking a language I could actually understand. I remember being taken aback by the Faulconer score though and thought it was an odd musical choice since at that time I was so familiar with the original score.

I mean, whether Jesus is real or not, he - he's had a bigger impact on the world than any of us have. And the same can be said for Bugs Bunny and - and Superman and Harry Potter. They've changed my life - changed the way I act on the earth. Doesn't that make them kind of real? They might be imaginary but, but they're more important than most of us here. And they're all gonna be around here long after we're dead. So, in a way, those things are more realer than any of us.

I was 5, 1998. The first episode I watched was 91 of Z. I was SO amazed, Dragon Ball's been pretty much my life ever since.

FUNimation VHS tapes were plugged into the hospital room next door when I was born, so says my step-brother.

While I may have watched it years ago with my cousins (since they gave me their copy of Budokai), I was probably too young to remember, so I'll just say I first started watching it when I was 14, when the UK Orange Bricks came out.

About 5 or 6. My older brother bought my 2 younger brothers each a different tape of the Pioneer FUNimation with Ocean Cast dub on it. I think it was Christmas of 98 or 99.

I think I was 5. I was in kindergarten at the time. I remember my parents would let me stay up until midnight just to watch it on Toonami. I don't remember when I stopped watching, but it was somewhere between Freeza's final transformation and Goku turning super saiyan. I rediscovered the show a decade later (in high school) when me and my friends happened to notice Kai on nicktoons. Been addicted to the show ever since.

I was 4-5 (around 1999-2000) when I started watching DBZ on YTV (Station that aired DBZ in Canada).
A lot of people here have been watching the series long before me lol.
