Snail, I doubt it had anything to do with deadlines since that's how they animated their stuff through out the entire series.
The entire episode was worse in motion.  :x

I think it's safe to say Vegeta had never been uglier throughout the entire dragonball series.

(Sorry for the off-topic post, but I don't know where else to do it.)

Snail: I tried PMing you a few times, but I'm not sure they even got sent... they're all stuck in my "Outbox" rather than the "Sentbox," whatever that means. I've still got these Daizenshuus if you want them. Drop me a line, s'il vous plait.

That second picture.

I just wish that there was a way for me to express how hard I was laughing just now.

Ok, here's where it gets a lot worse... prepare to be tortured..

Incoming Truck!

Still happy.

How bout a hug?

That's gotta hurt.

Tonight I dine on Namek soup.

Bow to the king.

To end things off.... :P

That last pic will most likely be a future avatar.

These are all from japanese episode 51 (I forget the dub #). Make sure you avoid this episode in your future DBZ marathons.

Anyone have that picture when Vegeta first arrives at that Namekian village that he destroys? I don't know the episode, buy if you've seen it, you'll know what I'm talking about. He's doing this weird pose...

Probably why it's called not a good anime, but still one or the best manga?

Oh, I didn't notice that those were from that episode. So, do you know of the image I spoke of? IIRC, it's right when he gets to that village (although I might be mistaken!).

I'll try to get some caps up as soon as I'm done with dinner.

That's the evil hybrid animation team of GT that I talked about earlier (evil eyes and triangle crap).

Did the hybrid team really draw that Gohan? If they did, they did a pretty good job...But..Freeza and Cell look like crap. :?

I still like the evil hybrid better than "Pale Cartoony Type". That's the worst one, IMHO.

The crackling electricity around Cell looks like it was done by someone just learning Photoshop. Or, if you looked really hard, it could look like... that other bodily fluid besides blood and urine.

And Freeza's eye shape. Brrr...

That Gohan looks respectaable, though.

They look okay when their still, but when they're moving on the screen, it looks a lot worse. I have a lot more of these pics that look a lot worse, but I'm too lazy to put them up, and they're too horrible to look at.

Really? that looks like evil eye group to me but eh....I don't think I have the resources to check up on that. I actually sort of like evil eye group too sometimes come to think of it.

To be honest, I have no idea which group did it. I just thought it looks triangularish like some of the other pics here.

I agree, it's definitely the 'evil eye' group. Is everyone at Daizex going to start calling these styles by the name Mike D gave them ?

By the way, I just watched Super Android 13, movie 7 due to boredom this morning, and I beleive that a majority of the animation was done by the 'Pale Cartoony group', I'm 90 percent sure about it. The 'Pale Cartoony group' have all done some pretty decent work before, but as the series progressed, it seemed as though they just stopped trying. There used to be more detail in their work, as well as more shades of colors.
