Would need to see it to believe it. I'm calling your bluff, stuff like that's been sought after for years and you'd be a fool not to please the fans who clammor for a high-quality release of the Canadian/U.K. broadcast dub. Where were you when Cartoon_World gathered all of what the users had of it? I stand firm in my belief that you don't have "Hi-Fi Stereo" Westwood dub recordings for sure. The way I see it, you're pulling everyones' legs, trying to get our hopes up, while at the same time being egotistical about it. If chances are you do have this then..... don't be a smug prick about it and release the damn thing already.DBGod wrote:Hi-Fi Stereo recordings of the Westwood dub

1. Just because something is "sought after" doesn't mean I have to upload anything. By you're logic, kei17 is a "fool" for not distributing the Japanese recordings he has access to.
2. I actually did discover C-W... that is quite a while after the episodes had all been collaborated. Don't assume I always knew about that site..
3.What exactly would I gain by "getting everyone's hopes up" or "pulling peoples legs?" All I said was I own them, I never said I was going to upload them. Stop assuming.
4. I'm quite sure the Kanzenshuu forum rules state to specifically not insult people... I'm sorry you don't have the fortune of owning something I happen to have, and I'm sorry my possessions have troubled you're lifestyle. Not my problem though.
Anyways, here is your proof. Compare this to what already exists. I only uploaded this to make you look like a fool. I guess you called the wrong bluff:

I have this torrented this proves nothing other than your ego growing judging by your username "DBGod". If you don't wish to share this with other fans of the series then flat out say it instead of ignoring pleas of other great people who admire the series. It is your selfishness holding others back from viewing great episodes of DB past. So instead of being a quiet smug ego prick about owning something noone has which I doubt you have because you have not proved anything. I read a later post about a guy giving these away you just so happen to be lucky if you did get them. You did not discover anything so there goes your ego again.DBGod wrote:Proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=48L5cf75IQ4

Also this just proves you been watching and rewinding those videos(if you do have them) and making them lower quality than they should. Its easy to record them for the whole community but your that kind of person that wants to feel special oh mystical one.

Listen, it isn't my prerogative to please anyone. In fact, uploading the full episodes would be illegal. I don't care if you think I own anything or not. All I said was I own this series through home recordings, which was answering the topic of this thread. I don't know why you're so pissed off, but like I said, not my problem.

HAHA, trying to make an excuse to not release it to not look like a selfish person when clearly you are. The fact is these are unreleased so it is not illegal get your facts straight and flat out say you don't want to share with the community and keep the shit to yourself then. Also, kanzenshuu forums says right in the rules that its alright to release unreleased material. Which you will not do because you don't care about anyone but your own ego.DBGod wrote:Listen, it isn't my prerogative to please anyone. In fact, uploading the full episodes would be illegal. First you say you don't have the internet speed then your saying its illegal. Just admit you want to keep it to yourself so the many members can see how selfish and useless you are providing more information to the series for the fanbase.

No you didn't and didn't you respond to another user saying you would if your internet speed was good and you had time? Now you are saying its illegal? Truth is your coming up with BS excuses not to because you don't care for anyone but yourself and feeling special. Admit the truth and flat out say you will not release it because you don't want to. Keep it for yourself. Give the members of this forum the truth instead of false promises going "I will maybe if my internet was faster and had time" Lmfao. Re: How do you own the series?
All you're really proving here KakarotWarrior is that you really like to pick at bones here.
I honestly can't remember if the 'unreleased content is okay' thing is in the rules or not, but I'm pretty sure that means in regards to like commercials, or next episode previews, or short clips, and so on. This particular version of the episodes might be unavailable, but the episodes themselves? They've been released time and time and time and time and time and tiiiimmmeeee again on home video. Seriously, just let it go man.

Re: How do you own the series?
Why let it go when this slug(lord slug) tried to use two different excuses to not release it. Obviously there is lying going around here to protect his reputation to not be selfish but it is clear as day now. It is not illegal to post the content as it was unreleased. He just told Balish he wasn't ready atm assuming he would later on. Again with false promises on one user then flat out saying its illegal to another. This just shows hes trying to hide his ego and keep it for himself which he wants. When he admits he won't show and wants to keep for himself then, I will let it go with him because all the members need to know how these people are like. Just another self-contained useless ego maniac liar trying to hide stuff from the fanbase. Admit you won't release it and stop giving vauge answers.Gyt Kaliba wrote:All you're really proving here KakarotWarrior is that you really like to pick at bones here.

I have to agree with Gyt Kaliba. I don't understand why on earth you're being so rude and aggressive towards DBGod? It's pretty absurd.
He has no obligation to share what he has nor do you have any right to sit here and whine about it. Not to mention that him sharing those episodes in their entirity would be against the forum's rules.
So rather than sit here and throwing out insults, perhaps consider rereading everything he's written and reconsider your further posts.

Re: How do you own the series?
I have a couple of questions myself regarding your home recordings. I PM'd you about it a couple of days ago, but seeing as how you're being very outspoken in this particular thread, I might as well take my chances and ask you them here:DBGod wrote:Listen, it isn't my prerogative to please anyone. In fact, uploading the full episodes would be illegal. I don't care if you think I own anything or not. All I said was I own this series through home recordings, which was answering the topic of this thread. I don't know why you're so pissed off, but like I said, not my problem.
• Are these the recordings that user "oXdanXo" was giving away a couple months back? If so, does that mean that you also own the complete run of Blue Water's version of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT, as well as AB Group's dubs of the DB, DBZ and "A Hero's Legacy" films?
• When do you plan on digitizing all of the tapes that you own? Do you have the tools necessary for lossless digitization? I'd happily pay all of the expenses for the required capturing devices + shipping if you're willing.
• If you're concerned about the legality of uploading your home recordings, I believe since the audio track is done by Ocean Studios themselves (and Blue Water & AB for their respective dubs) and have never been released for home distribution, you'd be able to release them at least as the bare minimum. Syncing the audio with what footage has already been released shouldn't require that much effort.
• If you dread even thinking about doing anything with these tapes, would you be alright with shipping them over my way so I could handle it for you? I'm actually in the process of digitizing my own tapes that contain the original edited Dragon Ball Z that aired on Cartoon Network here in the U.S., so it would be nice to get both out of the way in a similar time-frame. Of course, I would send them back once I finished. I would pay for the shipping costs as well, so the whole thing would go rather smoothly as long as you'd make sure to pack it up nicely for me, lol. Just ship them, I get them digitized, ship them back, ba-da-bing, ba-da-boom.
I apologize if I'm coming off as pushy to you, and it certainly doesn't help that "KakarotWarrior" is being a bit of a prick about this whole thing with you, but this dub is what led me to join this forum in the first place and I've been trying to find someone with hi-fi recordings for over 4 years now. Cartoon_World's gathering of the episodes is nice, but almost all of them are in mono and are missing chunks of the episodes in some cases. It actually lowers my enjoyment and overall appreciation for the dub, as if the occasional shoddy performances weren't enough to lower them already. Hearing these complete and in the quality they were broadcasted in would honestly be a dream come true and would definitely be a load of tension off of my shoulders. I feel like this is our last chance as a community in preserving this dub, seeing as Cartoon_World has since shut down and were really the last to ever pull through and gather all of their home-recorded episodes together. In short, I would really appreciate it if you answered/considered any of the 4 bullet points listed above. Thanks.

I have already distributed some of the material to others, of course it takes a while due to my poor uploading speed. I have no idea where you're getting all of this "selfishness" from.KakarotWarrior wrote: Admit the truth and flat out say you will not release it because you don't want to. Keep it for yourself. Some other users have even pointed out that you're acting aggressive for no apparent reason. Posting childish remarks such as "admitting defeat," is quite pathetic especially since you're demanding something from me and saying I'm selfish for not giving it to you.

It's my understanding that you're asking for entire episodes. There's a big difference between an unreleased version of the entire show and something like a video game soundtrack.KakarotWarrior wrote: Forum rules state you can release unreleased content stop using that excuse. Well I didn't mean any harm and sorry for my rudeness but the Ocean DBZ is the best version of DBZ and its fact. Way better than the Japanese for sure. But again, DBGod said he couldn't digitize them but yet they are digital and not tapes? Again another lie.

That's a subjective statement, not a fact. The Westwood Dub is my personal favourite, but that doesn't mean it's the best.

How is that subjective when the first 50 episodes of Ocean are the best and caused DBZ to be popular? Its a fact for sure.
