Villians reactions to stronger fighters from later seasons?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

My problem is that your arguing that Freeza would be able to beat any Android in the Cell Saga. 19 and 20 I can tolerate to some degree (though it's heavily implied that their Post-Absorption selves are stronger than SSJ Trunks @his debut) but anything else is falt out ridiculous.

This is the most basic form of logic. SSJ Trunks can't beat the Androids, SSJ Trunks destroys Frieza with the uttermost ease. It's not very hard to grasp.

Look, what it's a "basic form of logic" to you is a bunch of assumptions that of course I don't agree with, so stop speaking to me with that condescending tone. SSJ Trunks was at the same level of SSJ Goku on Namek, so of course I think he wouldn't have a chance against Freezer in full condition.

As I've already said, there were some topics when I discussed that so:
1. This is not the place to do it.
2. At least you could read why I think that way and answer (in it's corresponding place, of course) to my arguments, instead of making those claims without knowing even why I think what I think.

Cell would of just resorted to self destructing like he did against Gohan and it wouldn't surprise me if the others would try a similar tactic, as in destroying the planet.

Yes, in fact, in every DBZ fight there's a point when the villian tries a desperate solution (except for kid bu) so I don't think it matters much if it's against SSJ Goku or against SSJ3 Goku, because at that point the situation would be the same, what that villian would do in front of a desperate situation.

Yeah, this is a good example, Trunks disappeared off their radar into the past and came back much stronger than them both combined and destoryed 18 with ease and 17 couldn't believe it... It's just sad that 17 was killed immediately after... Their reactions could have been lengthened a bit and enjoyed...

This also happens with Cell on a few occasions where he uses his database to judge his opponent (Super Namek, Super Vegeta and Future Trunks after returning from past) although those ones aren't as satisfying. :P
