In Los Angeles, no less--looks like it's time to buy myself a ticket to Anime Expo!
EDIT: Actually, it looks like it's not really an Anime Expo event so much as it is an event that will be taking place extremely close to Anime Expo. Ah well, I'll get a ticket nevertheless...I haven't been to an anime con since moving to LA, and this looks like the perfect time to correct that!

I'm going to Anime Expo for the Sailor Moon stuff anyway, but I wish they were showing the original version on theaters.

I hope it comes to theatres in northern New Jersey such as Garden State Plaza's Amc Theatre for example. If it's in Northern New Jersey i would most definitley buy tickets with some friends and go see this movie.

I hope I'll get to see it. Already watched the Japanese version several times over, so I'd prefer to see the dub in theaters just to see how it's handled. But I'd go see either version just to support the movie's theatrical run (yes, FUNimation, please take more of my money). Portland has plenty of arthouse theaters, and I've been able to see various anime movies over the years (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Escaflowne, X), so hopefully there's a chance we'll get Battle of Gods. The first Bleach movie and live action Death Note movies also played in Regal theaters around here, so if it's a wide enough release (I heard 350 screens somewhere?), chances are good!

I hope they show it at the Muvico in Rosemont, but hell yeah! My and my brothers, cousins and friends are all going together and I'm dragging along my fiancée and kid too. He gets to experience something I dreamed about at his age, DBZ in theaters!

This post will serve to keep track of confirmed showtimes/theaters of "Battle of Gods" in North America.
As of
10 July 2014, 761 theaters have confirmed showings (721 in the United States and 40 in Canada).
The following states currently have no confirmed showings:
- Vermont (looks like you folks will have to travel across state lines)
View Theater Map -- I will be updating the map as more theaters list showtimes.
UPDATE:
Everything across North America has been updated, thankfully.

I hope this is coming out on demand as well, since the closest screening to me is two hours away, in a completely different country...

YES! It's going to be showing in a theater in the
East Village! How many members from NY want to set up met to see the movie together?
...if I have to see it alone I swear...

Sweet, a couple of Indiana showings about an hour away! I'm there!

No. DBZ Movie 12 briefly played in very select theaters before its American home release back in 2006.

I'm going for sure if my medical issues don't get in the way. I'm severely disabled with all kinds of stuff which makes it tough to get out but I'll do everything I can do make it. Already saw it online in Japanese a while back but to see it on the big screen with my bro would be EPIC

I guess I will go to the one next to DC. I was hoping for someone near by Columbia, but that's unlikely at this rate.

I live in Phoenix and the nearest theater to me is in Scottsdale which is about 25.4 miles away or 26 minutes away according to Fandango. I guess it just depends on whether my mom will drive me over there or not since I'm only 16

Canon is Jaco, Dragon Ball except for EoZ, Dragon Ball Super anime and manga (both are separate canons)

HAHA! It's actually coming to the theater I go to! I'm pretty pleasantly surprised.
It's a shame that their website seems to indicate only one single showing, but it's at 7:30 so I can make it no problem.
