Here's a camera pan I made of it a couple of years ago:



Since his hand wasn't visible in the final frame of his pose, I had to splice in his hand from another frame and do a very minor amount of redrawing. I think it worked out well.

I'm not a huge Broli fan but I watched his first movie over the weekend and found some really striking imagery in it. I especially liked the shot of him first powering up.



Another shot from the movie is actually an interesting one. It's almost identical to the shot we see in Battle of Gods:

Fun fact, I actually took this one because a fraternity brother remembered this specific frame and wanted the screencap. We've got the darker shading as the explosion blocks out light and shadows get darker for it, and probably the best portrait of Freeza contempt I can think of.



DBZ 275. Weird filler, but, do I even need to say it? Lighting! I can't remember any better instance of it in this series.



Posted this elsewhere, Buu's on parade. It's just so in-character it hurts- the Disney reference (intentional or not), the mental conflict as whether this should be humorous or scary, the out-of-the-blue nature of it that we don't bat an eye at because its Buu- and its filler.

Here's the iconic final shot of the We Were Angels ending, taken from episode 291:


Every other episode's ending footage looked a bit blurry and grainy, but 291's looked great. It was very red so I corrected it.


I'm sorry if these pans are uncalled for, but I thought they looked gorgeous and fit with the thread. I feel they wouldn't be effective as single screenshots.

They're totally cool. The thread is all about showing the art off to the best of our ability and the pans are pretty much as good as they get!

That Movie 13 one is incredible. Using it as my phone background now!

This one from Battle of Gods was my desktop background for the longest time, prior to the movie's release. The first time I watched the trailer, this was the moment that immediately caught my eye.

Fittingly epic shot, something you'd expect from a DBZ movie, but there's also something eerily calm about it. The Earth and the sun effect look amazing.

Imgur or Minus are my recommendations. Especially the latter as, unlike other sites, it won't recompress your images after a certain size/height. Highly recommended.

The detailed artwork from dragon ball z is my favorite part of the series. I really like how goku is animated here. I think it's one of the best shots of goku doing a kaioken in any of the movies or episodes. The other one is from the same scene but when he is about to do a kamehameha. The anime has too many beutifal shots to narrow it down, but I'll just post more.

This action shot of goku and vegeta looks so dynamic.
And I love seeing older scenes reanimated later in the series with better animation. The entire scene of vegetas respect for goku during the fight with kid buu was so good that I couldn't choose one.

Unless you're working with raw MPEG2s from the DVDs in Vegas, screenshots from there won't be acceptable.

I can't use Vegas? I'm going to use the same source from my Amvs. Which are from DVDs and Korean Kai clips. Is Kai even allowed?

This is my favourite shot in the entire series. Yup and it's not Goten. I love the red background along with the pose and anger Gohan has make this a classic. Wish more people would pay attention to this. Highly underrated IMHO.
