Can I have Vegetto's opening line where he reveals his name translated, please? I was checking over VIZ volume 26 and he says "Vegeta and Kakarrot combined...I guess that makes us...Vegerot?" Nevermind all the Vegerot stuff, does he really say "I guess that makes
us..."? Because I have trouble with the idea that he still considers himself 2 people.

Actually, he doesn't use any pronouns at all in that line. (Japanese is like that.) A translation preserving this ambiguity (at least for the first line) would go something like.
"Vegeta and Kakarrot[to] combined... Guess that makes 'Vegetto'... And then..." [
goes Super Saiyan]

Although, he says
I guess that makes us... so even in that one sentence he's not consistent with how he refers to himself.

C'mon Viz, what were you doing?

Can someone translate what Vegeta and No.18 say to each other here?
In Viz it has to do with her getting more serious, I believe, so I'm just trying to get specific wording here.

Rough-ish:
18:
I haven't been going all out either. You didn't realize?
Vegeta: Is that so...? If that's the case, then stop holding back. You better go all out on me this instant, or you'll come to regret it......
18: All right. Then I will.

Ok I've honestly got no idea what this is, but could someone try to translate it? My friend who knows a little bit of Japanese found it on gamefaqs, and wants to know what it says. I reiterate, I don't know what it is, or if it's even legit. My friend could just pick out a few words here and there, but nothing more.

I can't translate it entirely, but from a glance I can tell you it's entirely fanmade. "Buuhan" and "Vegito" in addition to being fanmade/dubterms, point to it being made by someone more interested in "proving" something in a strength debate. Also, I have a hunch that's not grammatically correct Japanese.
EDIT: "Anata wa Broli", "Contextu irreleventeru", Really?
EDIT2:"KAboomu" Looks like someone has some beef with you, Kaboom.

"Vegito" wouldn't be surprising, since it's the official English-language name for the character (we do not speak of Viz's version), but if the asinine "Buuhan" fan-term had been somehow absorbed and adopted by any official Japanese material... that would be it. I'd quit. The fandom, the human race, the mortal universe. All of it. Me. Gone.
"Contextu irrelevanteru" makes me chuckle, though.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

They said that Kaboom sucks balls.
Really.
Not that they were smart enough to write it they way it actually
would be in Japanese, but you can tell that was what they were going for.
And there's some semi-coherent stuff about SSj4 Goku and Gogeta being stronger than Super Saiyan God, and Broli being in the new movie, etc.

Not to be lazy, but that thing's been translated dozens of times before on the forums. Probably in this very thread. Look around, I'm sure you'll find something.

I thought I read long ago about how Toriyama himself had come up with a ridiculous name for Buu with Gotenks and Piccolo absorbed.
Was it Buupinks or something?
I think it was Herms who wrote about it once, but said it only was in the Shonen Jump magazine.
I am not entirely sure this was confirmed or if Herms was talking about another guy, who said he saw it in one of those magazines.

Here you go:
Herms wrote:Manga
Boo’s various absorbed forms aren’t really called anything specific in the manga. After absorbing Gotenks and Piccolo in chapter 499, Boo refers to his new self as the “mightiest majin” (最強の魔人/saikyou no majin), but that’s about it. Interestingly Curtis Hoffman’s manga summaries (which were written while the Boo arc was still serializing in Jump) say that when chapter 501 ran in Jump, a sidebar asked whether “Buu + Piccolo + Super Gotenks == Super Bupinks". Unfortunately I’ve been unable to find any other mention of this, but some Japanese fans do refer to that form as “Super Bupinks” (超ブピンクス).

Well thank you
Too bad we aren't able to really get it confirmed.
Edit: So I searched it on Google and the japanese Wikipedia page for Majin Buu mentions it in reference 33.
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E9%AD%94% ... ite_ref-33
For some reason it also links to some guy who was working at Shonen Jump at the time. Maybe it is saying, that he came up with the name?

For over in the Heroes thread, I've got two different people blogging about the next PV for JM6 that was shown at one of the tournaments recently (cameras have been banned). Using Google, it appears the next set will be based of Si Xing Long and Dr. Uiro, with appearances of Uiro's henchmen and brainwashed Piccolo. There's also the expected mention of Broli as a Super Saiyan 4 after the V-Jump hint.
Buuuuut, in addition to that, there's something about Trunks in one of them(?), and something about Goku falling and Vegeta being an avatar? I dunno. So I'd really like a quick translation of this outside of Google...
