Kikuchi and Ginyu Tokusentai?

Post by Flame Dragon » Sun Jul 13, 2014 7:47 am

I never watched the full series with the infamous Kikuchi replacement soundtrack, does this version keep the Ginyu Tokusentai theme?

It's probably my favourite theme from Kai BY FAR.
Was it composed by Yamamoto?

Also does the Kikuchi soundtrack keep Saiyan Blood too?

Take the Stage!! Ginyu Force Rangers (my personal adapatation name choice) is on there since it was composed and performed by Yoh Yamazaki and Saiyan Blood is gone since it was one of the few inserts, I think actualy News of the Cell Games was done by him too and missing. Looking at the lyrics translation on the main page answers the questiom if you want the quickest way to an answer!

What about "Only a Chilling Elegy"?

A shame that Vegeta lost his new theme song. Kai with kikuchi really sounds like a grossly inferior product. :(

Yes, that's kept. All insert songs are kept in the Kikuchi mix except for Saiyan Blood & News Of The Cell Games as those 2 are composed by Yamamoto.

I heard something on the Season 2 thread about the English dub adding in echoes or something into the Ginyu Force Rules scene. Can anyone elaborate what this means, exactly?
