I tried to get the opening but for some reason it didn't show at the start. So I all got was 40 seconds of nothing basically .

Just watching it myself also, interesting so far, they removed a lot of filler in the previous episode, but then added 2 filler scenes from a different episode to get it to 20 mins. I guess it's nothing we haven't seen in the previous Arcs.

Encouraging, though there are filler scenes (a lot more than the Japanese cut of these episodes, though we knew that anyhow) they aren't offensive, and serve their purpose.

Oh, and no green tint

It's pretty interesting to be fair, I quite like Gohan's, Videl's and Goten's voices in this dub. I just wish the stream wouldn't keep coming up with a prompt for payment every 3 Minutes.

As it seems, they don’t use some tracks that we have heard in the Japanese Version (especially the Battle of Gods ones) and the happy tracks are very repetitive during the same episode. By the way, there is one new BGM that played while Piccolo was training. Also, the BGM when Goku arrives is the same in the International Version but when he meets Goten a sweet music is playing there.

No, the Piccolo scene wasn't in the Japanese Version.

Episode #6 covered 22 pages of the Manga.
Episode #7 covered 23 pages of the Manga.

Pacing is consistent at least, and the editing is very good.

I can't quite 100% tell since I'm on a tablet but this confirms there is no green tint outside of the Japanese broadcasts, correct? We actually have tangible proof now.

Si. This however is a slightly darker remaster. Though Korean anime broadcast sometimes are in a tad bit darker. I kinda like it.

Whoa! You're right! I kept hearing people talk about how the music style slightly resembles the US scores, but THIS one definitely gives off a Faulconer Productions vibe. I think this Sumitomo score sounds interesting. Practically US style music placed in a way that allows for silence? I'm all for it.

Also, is the opening not at the beginning of the episode or anything? Or is it a cold open?

With all of these comments about the score being Faulconer-esque....could we entertain the possibility that that's not a coincidence and, in fact, a conscious decision on the part of Toei and Sumitomo? This is the international version, after all, which Toei originally did not intend to air in Japan. While I don't miss Faulconer's score, there were a lot of fans online who were vocal about how much they did. So, the conspiracy theorist in me is wondering if perhaps FUNimation was one of the main financial backers of the international version and specifically requested some Faulconer-esque music to be thrown in in an attempt to bring back fans of the Faulconer score.

Just a thought, of course.

That's a good point. Not sure about Funimation, though. I get the feeling it's more of a Toei decision than anything. The track in the video clearly sounds Faulconer-inspired now that I think about it. That makes me wonder if anyone on the Japanese side has ever commented on the US rescores, or even the dub in general. I think I've asked something like this before, though.

Seeing as they used Fr(i)za in the promos. I'm positive that they could have just looked up the English Dub score just like they look up the English dub spelling of Freeza. So I guess they think this score fits the international people because they feel as though Funimation knows best for the outside world?
