I can't believe just how fast all this promotional material is coming out! I don't remember
Battle of Gods getting this much exposure.
Apparently I didn't pay any attention back then. As detailed on the site's
main article about this; it seems similar promo materials were in fact used for
Battle of Gods.

@rebo59's Twitter, there appears to be a TV spot about the movie:
Did any of our fellow Japanese members manage to record this or grab any details about it? I'm struggling to make sense of all these tweets!
EDIT: Ah, it seems
Kei17 sourced a couple more screenshots from some other Japanese Twitter users. Hopefully it's okay to post these on his behalf.

Whoa, a TV spot that quickly?

I can't imagine that it shows a whole lot of anything, but still, whoa.
Does look like Goku will still be in the familiar orange-and-blue though. They're never gonna give that end-of-series gi another shot, are they.

This is all too much, really. I feel 10 again with all of this new stuff

Everything is pretty much right on track with the promotional schedule of
Battle of Gods, especially early on. It's actually kind of nice to somewhat have a set timeline to follow this time around. We're not winging it near as much as last time, but still, you never know exactly when it's coming.

It could be worse - just imagine if we
did actually get a new series. And not something like Heroes, but I mean an honest-to-Kami brand-spanking-new series of some sort.. I can only imagine you guys would have to just throw your arms up into the air in saddened rage.

Yeah, I must have not followed
Battle of Gods as closely as I thought I did back then. I mean, I wasn't actually signed up to the site back then so everything came from a lot of very much maligned sources!
I think my earliest memory of the film would probably be a teaser where the camera flies through a bunch of mountains to reveal Goku stood there looking stern.
Damn, I wonder how late of a teaser that was?

The teaser you described is the one we mention at the very end of the news post (the one that came out almost exactly two years ago, which we still have archived
over on the respective "Movie Guide" page), and was one of the earliest pieces of promotion that came out for it... other than the MASSIVE leak of the poster image!

Oh right! I feel a bit silly now

I even clicked that article to see what the similarities were between the two. Unfortunately I'm quite literally running on dial-up internet at this hotel so I gave up trying to see what exactly the video was.
Wow, that was
two years ago?! That's crazy to me. Time has flown by!

Has the teaser been uploaded to Youtube?
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Right now, the only new thing that those images can bring is a fire theme/environment at some point (much like Battle of Gods' similar trailer showing the rocky wastelands).
The fire is even shown in the title, but does it mean it's really an important theme of the movie? Maybe not, it might be just be a temporary style to go with the rest of the pictures here.
Showing Shenron brings nothing new since we already knew that a bad wish will play a major part in the plot, so it's not surprising that he's used in the general presentation, much like what we see on the website and flyers.
Now, a fiery environment... I don't think they would choose this as a battlefield on Earth, but after all, a volcano is one of the things that the all-around battle against Beerus didn't take them too (we had a city, a rocky wasteland, a watery area, an underground cave and space).
But it might be another world too.

Maybe Goku is on another planet doing his own thing, after all, and that's why he was teleporting in the first teaser image. After all.
Or Maybe Goku tells the dragon he was tired of saving earth and wishes he didn't have to... and the dragon takes it wrong. Though don't know how we would get any fight scenes from that.

Maybe I was thinking maybe the dragon destroys the earth because of the wish, but that sounds better.

Well, it makes sense to be shaded as harshly as it is. They're both in pitch black areas being illuminated from a single source. It's like putting a flashlight under your chin in a dark room. The shadows and highlights are going to be hugely exaggerated.
It's no different to how Shen Long looked in Battle of Gods. The only difference is, you're looking at contrasty images taken off a TV so the effect is exaggerated further.
Looks fairly standard to me.

Whoa, loving that fiery logo!
Also, those are pretty nice shots of Goku too.
