I think that was Kei who did some modifications to one of the key animator's work in the Ultimate Blast cut scenes.Chuquita wrote:Much appreciation for Jacob's educational animation info. Very interesting.
I really am curious to who they'll hire for Animation Director. I'm so hungry for a fresh animation style that isn't Yamamuro's current one. Tired of his badly-proportioned faces and the overly wide bodies. I can't help thinking of that one thread where someone corrected the face proportions on one of his screenshots and I can't un-see it now. Most of his old Z stuff is fine, but I just don't care for his current art style.
Yamamuro Tadayoshi's key visual art for Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods was first revealed 10 July 2012. Clearly the actual character designer for the film had been decided at that time, as well as that Gokuu would have a symbol on his dougi. Notice how Kuririn's design wound up not reflecting this early piece of promotional art, however.
