When will you guys stop buying DBZ home releases?

I was in a tough spot financially when the boxes rolled around, so the only one I was able to grab was DBOX2 (I'm super glad that's the one I picked, seeing the absurd prices it goes for now). So I'm still waiting for that decent enough release to roll around or a reissue of the boxes or something. If they released DB and GT boxes I wouldn't buy them, the DB bricks are pretty decent and the differences between the GT bricks and the GT box are so minute you would have to be looking for them or know every inch of both. I'm waiting for this disaster to finish up before I buy Kai, because I wanna make sure I'm buying a consistent release and get tricked by all the stuff with music and "international versions" and so on.

Not only are the Blue Bricks zoomed in but they also are missing Japanese credits, NEPs and all the OPs/EDs.

Aside from the "zoomed in"-complaint, all of those also apply to the older releases though. (Or, technically that one too has less footage than the Dragon Box, but wasn't that one actually zoomed out from the original TV-broadcast?) And really, while the Blue Bricks are still a bit more zoomed in, I doubt they're so zoomed in that it actually damages the overall composition of the images. We're talking like a 5% zoom on all five sides from what I can tell. They're still an adequate release, from what I can tell. Yeah, the lack of the second opening-animation and the other variations of the ending kinda suck, and it's annoying that the episode title-cards are only written in English, but from what I can tell, they do at least provide a version that's watchable without making you want to rip your hair out... Sure, had the old Saga-sets still been in print, or had FUNi released a Dragon Box version of the original series, I wouldn't recommend the Blue Bricks, but as it stands, I don't think the Saga-sets seem so much better that it's really worth going through the extra time, effort and money to get those rather than the Bricks.

Yeah, I didn't mean all exactly.

It has Ver. 1 OP and ED Ver. 2 missing the OP Ver. 2 and ED Ver. 1/3/4.

Opening 2 and Ending 4 are such a bummer to lose in particular. What's the deal with those? Did they never get those in the first place? I heard they used editing techniques to get Endings 2-4 from GT on those Season Sets, so why couldn't they do that here?

The alternate Japanese angle was only for the title episode cards as everything else is the same.

I personally don't care too much about the credits and NEPs so for that reason it wouldn't warrant a purchase from me. Being zoomed in is a problem though, so I have considered the possibility of selling off the blue bricks for them if that release were to come by. And for GT I want to make sure that my statement only applies for the video quality, the bricks do lack the extras like NEPs iirc and all that so if you want the complete perfect package I can see that.
