Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

Oh shit I forgot about your thread? Should a mod merge them? I do feel like Yamcha/Videl/Pan being there is thread-title worthy though.theoriginalbilis wrote:Excellent news!

That would be great if someone could merge the threads, and even change the thread title to focus on the guests.Kid Buu wrote:Oh shit I forgot about your thread? Should a mod merge them? I do feel like Yamcha/Videl/Pan being there is thread-title worthy though.theoriginalbilis wrote:Excellent news!

I don't see a need to merge the topics, as things would just be repeated. If you keep the other thread alive, then this one will just die on its own. Also, if the original poster edits their first post, then they can change the topic title themselves.

Okay so who else from DB is going to be there? Engilish Broli and Ocean Piccolo?

Re: Meet Yamcha, Videl, & Pan at Anime Weekend Atlantic
I'm back from Anime Weekend Atlanta 2014 and I just wanted to share my convention experience with everyone:
Regarding DragonBall, I managed to sit in on Toru Furuya's Q & A panel on Friday: He was very amiable and fun, and was answering everything from DragonBall questions to Kimagure Orange Road questions; and even allowing girls to take selfies with him.
I ran a couple panels during Yuko Minaguchi's solo panel, so I couldn't make it to see her sadly.
Scott McNeil's flight was late, so he didn't arrive at the con until Saturday, so his Saturday Q&A was rather full. He mostly answered questions about his career and voice-acting in general, but I did ask him about "the status of the Canadian production of DragonBall Kai", and he basically confirmed they're "finished." Also, he thought the decision to pronounce Namek as "Nah-mek" was strange and he defended the earlier English pronunciation since he's worked on the show and voiced Piccolo for years. I didn't get to ask him about the actual broadcast date or other actors, but OmegaRockman had my back and asked him who's playing Goku: We've more or less confirmed from McNeil's own mouth that Richard Ian Cox is their voice for Goku.
As for goodies, I managed to snag some rare Dragon Ball cels. The first one (featuring Goku and Vegeta flying) from the dealer's room from a lady who lived in Japan and acquired hundreds of cels from Toei. The other (a cel of Goku and Bulma from early DB with a background) was kindly donated to me from a kind gentlemen who was a long-time AWA-goer who also owned a huge collection of cels.

Autographs: I got an older Japanese DBZ poster, and had Mr. Furuya and Ms. Minaguchi to sign it for me. I'll probably try to get more DBZ seiyuu to sign it if they show at some more cons next year.
I also met up with Kakarot88, OmegaRockman, and medama_oyaji from the forums as well. You guys were all super-shonen and it was totally cool to meet up with you.
I guess that's it for now. If anyone else wants to post about their AWA experience this weekend, feel free to add on to this thread!
