So, um I kind of went crazy at Mandarake in Umeda, and ended up purchasing 5 or 6 issues of Jump. (I don't remember exactly, because I had them shipped back so I wouldn't have to lug them all over Osaka.)

I have a project in mind for them, but I'll need more issues first. I'm not going to hold my breath on getting all 517 issues from the series' run, but at least ones that pertain to information I'm looking for to flesh out the site...

These came in the mail today. I'm a big fan them not placing gold versions in this release.

Yeah, I kind of wish they hadn't done that in the capsule figure set that I've got. Two of the figures are gold, when really I'd rather they just be colored the right colors of the characters. :/

Anyway, after some hassle with Wal-mart and the post office both, I got in my Complete Illustrations! Looked it all over at work today, and definitely have some questions about it that I'll have to make it's own thread for.

The recent "Capsule R" releases won't contain the gold variants. The last set that had gold variants was the last new Cell set back in 2011.

Wow! that figure looks awesome bro. :)
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

And Ryo Horikawa! Why's that not mentioned?! That's probably the most badass thing on there.

And now my copy of Season Four of Kai has come in! Other than waiting on Battle of Gods to ship, that'll probably be my last DB related purchase for at least a little while, as I need to take care of some other things first. Soon enough though, I'm hoping to start in on ordering the VizBigs that I need, as well as some other Toriyama manga.

Chogashu arrived~! (Way earlier than expected).
It's so very cool; and there's definitely stuff in there I'd never seen before (some short comics about Toriyama's GT-related experiences, Kamesennin teaching art, some drawings--Tori-bot dressed as Piccolo, and in saiyajin armor, a drawing of kid Gokû side-by-side another drawing of him without his distinctive features (that is, with normal hair and without the tail, but still wearing a gi--"human" Gokû I guess?) an unfinished-partly-colored drawing of Gokû; I never knew the chibi sd Gokû on the kanzenban release was old artwork) and that super-fun concept art (I love concept art) of Gokû reaching Kaio-sama's planet on the cover of the book underneath the dust-jacket. Also nice to have the cover art from the Super Exciting Guides that I never got around to buying back then.
On hiatus.

Just received this today. I posted this in the Kai forum, but it appears that the green tint is not present on the home release.

I addressed this over in the Kai thread, but my computer doesn't read Blu-rays, so I'm not sure if I'd be able to do anything short of snapping a picture of the TV screen.

Nice you've got it but am I seeing right, did you put it on the ground? :?

If you could take still photos from your HDTV with high quality (1080p HD) then it'd be better than nothing. Thanks in advance!
