Yea Since I live in England I only get Ocean's dub, although it's stopped airing.

I know it stopped airing, it's a shame though because I really enjoyed the Ocean dub :(

Anyway, I have always enjoyed the Ocean dub equally as much as the Funi dub, mainly on first viewing of each, but after watching the original Japanese series, going back to Funi's seems like your watching some kind of joke, but, going back to Ocean's, I get memories of the old days and just like it.
Ha ha, yeah that's the way I feel. I love the music and the voice acting because it reminds me of those days when I discovered DBZ. I remember the adverts on cartoon network, I didn't think much of it but I saw the first episode and it was unlike anything I had ever seen.

The composed music was the best thing about the Ocean Group dub, anyone else agree?

I will have to disagree with you on that, I felt the best thing about the Westwood Ocean Group Dub of DragonBall Z were the voices. The voices were the main attraction of the dub, after Season 3 finally showed up after the excellect dubbing quality of Seasons 1 and 2 I was extremely disappointed.

Although the Ocean DragonBall Z didn't come back to Canada untill episode 168(UK and Holland got it earlier and got episodes 108-167), I've seen clips from the episodes we in Canada didn't get and I though they were great. It was great to have Ted Cole, Doc Harris, Scott McNeil, Brian Drummond, Saffron Henderson, and Peter Kelamis(Later 2 sadly had to leave) back, and I'll always feel that they did a much better job with the characters than the FUNi actors ever will.

As for the music, although it was recycled from the Megaman score, I felt it fit in with the episodes and the action much better than Faulconers music in the FUNi dub score. My favorite piece in the Ocean score was dubbed the "Army Tune" because of the Army drum like beat in the piece http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=727N35GqhW4 it's the second music track in this clip. There are faults in that the Ocean score recycled the music they had since day 1 untill the Buu Saga which is when the Ocean Group score got some new track although they might have been lifted off other shows but there are things I don't know about that others might.
