I can just imagine how many small children will skip school just for this network test.

Do you need an American account to register for this?SSJ God Gogeta wrote:I would say a good hour or so. That's why I'm gonna take some time off to see if I can get a code.CashmanX wrote:Alright, a couple questions that I need cleared up:
1. Since this is a global network test, how long would it take before all 20,000 codes to be used up? An hour?
2. Is this game in it's "Alpha" stage or it's "Beta" stage?

Probably. You might need to access the US PSN store to download the client.sangofe wrote:Do you need an American account to register for this?SSJ God Gogeta wrote:I would say a good hour or so. Well, I'm still registered for the second run in Japan. I've signed up for the UK one, and I'll be keeping any eye out for a US code on the announcement page. If I don't make the cut this time, my luck is just piss poor. xD

In Sergio's last video he said in the comment section that he found 2 characters that seem to be playable but on the series they don't really fight.

Is the network test valid for European players? I don't think I have an american PSN account, just a japanese and european one. Though, I can make one.

Didn't think we'd be having this conversation after the Japanese network test, where we got to see that in effect.
There was already a website for us European players to register for the network test, but the registration period already ended.Doctor. wrote:Is the network test valid for European players? I don't think I have an american PSN account, just a japanese and european one. Though, I can make one.

I don't think it's too late. They didn't give Europe a deadline. I signed up recently.Doctor. wrote:Well, damn it.Rukura wrote:There was already a website for us European players to register for the network test, but the registration period already ended.

I checked it out last night to see if there was any new info on the site. Registration for the European network test is closed. Kinda glad I did it when it went up.
EDIT: There was something about the American network test being a "first come, first serve" kinda thing. Maybe they closed the European registration when they maxed out the numbers they had for it?

The European network's closed now but what about giving people codes to try out the beta? Any here got 'em?
I can't believe I missed out on the Japanese and the European networks even though I signed up for 'em, what a shitty luck.

To fuel the roster speculation, in the datamined Special Move list, there were moves, which hints on Energy Absorption model Androids/Cyborgs aka #19 and Dr. Gero.
http://youtu.be/YXG0VXk_U1w?t=1m25s
Drain Charge
Super Drain
Hyper Drain
Also in the description part, there are fitting description for these Special moves.
http://youtu.be/YXG0VXk_U1w?t=7m23s
Grab and attack an enemy to steal their Ki/Guard Gauge/Ki and Guard Gauge.
Opinion on this? Discuss. (also worried about no #16, but it's only datamined data from a network test build)
Also does this mean we can attempt to make an Cyborg/Android Namekian, Majin, Freeza clan or Saiyan?
Also regarding Ki charge, there are multiple stages of Ki charge as seen in following part of the list:
http://youtu.be/YXG0VXk_U1w?t=3m29s
Energy Charge
Full Power Charge
Maximum (the Hormone) Charge (page/somewhat later)
The fitting description for these moves are at that part of the description:
http://youtu.be/YXG0VXk_U1w?t=7m39s
Keep executing to charge Ki!
A move, which recovers Ki faster than Energy Charge/Full Power Charge.
So what are the possible downsides of these superior Ki charge moves?

Considering nobody here is saying that they got the code yet, they probably haven't started giving them out yet.dbboxkaifan wrote:I can't believe I missed out on the Japanese and the European networks even though I signed up for 'em, what a shitty luck.
And there's still the second phase of the Japanese side of it, for those of us that didn't get in the first time.

I initially thought these might hint at 19 and 20 too, but the list lacks any other moves that tend to belong to them (granted this is a beta, but it's all we have to go off of for the time being). That said, the moves don't have to belong to them either. Cell has draining attacks with his tail, and Super 17 has the absorption nodes too. The attacks are also listed with the rest of his moves...Super Saiyajin Luffy wrote:To fuel the roster speculation, in the datamined Special Move list, there were moves, which hints on Energy Absorption model Androids/Cyborgs aka #19 and Dr. Gero.

As for the avatar things, I imagine there may be some moves that they can't use. Like, IF there were an attack from Freeza that uses his tail, I wouldn't expect a Namekian to use it. So maybe techniques that are too specific aren't for custom use or are limited to certain races.

That's good to know.
I really want to pre-order Xenoverse but not without giving it a try first.

If there are no #19 and #20, I think it will be a pretty high chance, that one of the first 2 forms of Cell is going to be confirmed. Although Perfect Cell used his tail in DBGT, I don't find it aesthetically appealing to Perfect Cell, which results to the above thinking (provided my hypothesis on Perfect Cell being a separate character from his other forms is correct).TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I initially thought these might hint at 19 and 20 too, but the list lacks any other moves that tend to belong to them (granted this is a beta, but it's all we have to go off of for the time being). True, that some moves aren't going to be customisable for your CaC, Super Saiyan is only going to be Saiyan only for example and in the Network Test, there is also a Namekian exclusive special attack. (I seriously want my Energy Absorbing Majin/Namekian Cyborg hybrid now)
EDIT: If I remember right, Saiyan CaC had this one Super/Ultimate from #19 in Ultimate Blast, where he scans and shoots eye lazors. But hey, it was a Spike game, lolgic.

And the diffrent ki charging thing is kinda pointless since in the end all online player will mostlikely use the same kind of ki charging.
