I thought I saw people jumping around in Toki Toki City in previous videos? Not in the beta, but other footage. Guess they took thy took out that ability. I just feel kinda of stuck not being able jump...lol

Overlooked it, but confirmation of Videl in the stream. She's on the background of the Earthlings section of the Character Creator, along with Yamcha, Mr. Satan and Kuririn.

I'm trying to recall if Saiyan characters will also be able to use the Grade forms of Super Saiyan as well. I'm pretty certain I saw "Super Vegeta" in the list of Ultimate skills, but I'm not sure if it's an actual transformation or something else.

Edit: Went back and watched the part of the stream where they were showcasing Ultimate skills. Turns out there are "Super Vegeta" and "Super Vegeta 2" Ultimates that look like they're transformations (they had the same icon as Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2 and were directly under them). This could most likely mean we'll be able to use the Grade forms as our transformation skill as well as they general use "Super Vegeta" is him going to 2nd Grade Super Saiyan. This is mere speculation though.

The data mine description just says it is Vegeta's specific version of Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. It provides a slightly different stat boost for some reason.

Ah okay. I wasn't aware of that, so my theory is most likely dead.

Dimps developed Street Fighter IV with a team comprising of some of the former leads from the Budokai games. That video is a leak so it hasn't been officially announced yet, but I'd be surprised if Dimps isn't also developing Street Fighter V. If the 2D fighting staff are busy with Street Fighter, it would explain why we have what looks like Saint Seiya's staff.

I don't get it.
Some say that Dimps' Saint Seiya team is working on Xenoverse and the one who made Budokai is working on SFV, but I don't know if this is true though.

I think the bad news is that combos are the same for every character; it's like tenkaichi 1 or dynasty warriors, pretty disappointed, I was hoping for a combo system at least as deep as Budokai 3 here :/

Are we talkin' Xenoverse? If so I will disown Dimps forever. It's one thing for Spike and Artdink to do it but this is Dimps and they designed Budokai 3, the Shin Budokais, and Infinite World... which are, hands down, the best DBZ fighters in terms of pure combat. They even co-developed Street Figher IV for fuck's sake. They should know better.

This could mean that there's different stats for Vegeta's forms based upon which outfit you choose as opposed to any cosmetic changes. I guess it's all questions at the moment though.

It has already been noted in this thread but I'm aware it's rather difficult to look through all the pages that you may miss. That being said, they are transformations for the avatars but probably just provide different stat boosts to the Saiyans, probably attack speed up for speed. I'll be interested to see how they take full advantage of this variety throughout the game.

Combo commands are the same, but the actual combos are different. Best way to do it, imo. Most people buying the game probably won't want to learn different commands for different characters.

Yeah, the inputs are similar (wasn't it like that in the Budokai games?) but everyone has different animations for them.

Wow, Dimps is going full "next-gen" first with Xenoverse and now with Street Fighter V which apparently is going to be on PS4 and PC while excluding Xbox One and it makes no sense since Xbox One has a large fanbase of SF fans and that's money they'll be losing out, but worry not as there'll be "SUPER STREET FIGHTER V: ULTRA HYPER MEGA EDITION" for Xbox One. :P

Still no announcement for an XV demo. :-/

from the live stream sum-up:
Beam struggles officially deconfirmed. The reason given was the 3 x 3 battles.

The game is still incomplete as Kid Gohan still had his Japanese voice.
DLC seems to be planned, some based on fan feedback.
