What would you like to see after Xenoverse?

Xenoverse 2. Other then that, a Tenkaichi HD collection would be nice. But they better not screw over Tenkaichi 2 like they did with Budokai 2 in the Budokai HD collection. BT2 is my favourite DBZ game so not including that in the collection would get me pretty angry. I also want to hear BT2's soundtrack in HD, that would be amazing.

By the time Xenoverse's out it'll be 2015 and you really think anyone gives a rats ass about a Tenkaichi HD Collection or knows what it's about to consider making the HD remaster? Retailers already have a hard time selling Dragon Ball games and with this they'd just refuse to have it in their shops because it'd be like 1 out of 20 customers would actually purchase it.

Time has passed and Tenkaichi's done for, let's leave it at that and move on.

I know Tenkaichi is done for and realistically there will never be a HD collection, I'm just saying that it would be nice if one existed. It doesn't have to be released in retailers, it can be exclusive to the PlayStation store or Xbox live.

Sooo...If XENOVERSE releases around January like BOZ I'm guessing we will get Rumors/Info on the next game(XENOVERSE 2?) . To be honest i haven't been hyped for XENOVERSE at all, maybe its because i was expecting a 2D game and got let down. Ill be waiting to hear new info come April/May... I just hope the next game is 2D because I'm soooooooo tired of the 3D ones, i can only play Budokai/IW/BL for so long.

We shouldn't get another Budokai, Tenkaichi, Raging Blast or Burst Limit. We need a Dragon Ball game whether 2D or 3D to be accurate to the source material. No more flying simulators or games with every character having KKKK. Something like the Hyper DBZ or Xenoverse should be allowed for DB fighting games. I want to fight like SSJ3 Goku, Ultimate Gohan, Piccolo, Cell and etc. Not fight as a character who looks like Goku and has a complete different fighting styles.

A fighting game in a different style than Xenoverse. I think they should have multiple studios make the DBZ games and each has a a different style. Each year one studio would release a game so we would have yearly releases but with time to actually change up the games.

He's not wrong though. Before Shin Budokai or Infinite World, the Budokai games were a culprit to having most characters have the exact same combos. Budokai 1 and 2, Vegeta and Future Trunks played exactly the same, Cell played like Dabura, 17 and 18 played the same (twinning!)... I could go on. Budokai 2 and 3 introduced new characters so they played slightly different.

Only Budokai 1 and 2 were rampant with reskins. By Budokai 3, most of, if not all, the characters started to have a unique (or at least some uniqueness in them) moveset to work with. Even scrubs like Oob, Videl, and Mr. Satan had their own specific types of attacks/combos/whatever.

I disagree with #17 and 18 being exactly the same in 1 and 2. They are, for the larger part, extremely similar but there are notable differences (#17's <P is chargeable for instance). Same with Vegeta and Trunks.

The Budokai games were no better, Burst Limit was the first and so far only game where each character played differently.

That's true for the readily playable characters (except #17 and #18) but all the unlockables are either clones or just modified versions of the initial characters with exception of Fat Boo.


Anyways, I like a sequel to Xenoverse... if it turns out good. If not then a sequel to Burst Limit or a 3DS Dragon Ball game is preferred.

Tired of straight up fighting games I would like a role playing type of game like Budokai 3 but with a lot more emphasise on the role playing element.
Each character has their own story and whilst you progress you can level up etc. learn new move and battle techniques It'd be cool to explore like Namek or other world, and hunting for dragon balls etc. That'd be a lot of fun.

Maybe something like Dragon Quest VIII .A turn-based RPG that'll focus on new characters, and will take place shortly after the events of the series. Son Goku and his friends are known throughout the world, and they have definitely left their mark on the world.

Your journey begins when you gather a group to search for the Dragon Balls. (The story should be told in acts so it can capture the feel of a manga with arcs.) Once your group finds all the DBs, the second act would have some new villain appearing. This is when you'll start seeing things you know from the series. You'll have to team up with characters from the series, and, eventually, you'll be introduced to the god hierarchy that Dragon Ball has. Beerus and other gods will need to come into the story to help fight the villain.

These are just ideas and I know it was a little rambly, but I would love a expansive, grand Dragon Ball story told like Dragon Quest VII was told.

I could pretty much take anything as long as it's different. Hell, who's up for a Dragn Ball kart racer?
