How much more powerful is Whis in comparison to Beerus?

I suppose if Beerus’ strength is a 10, [Super Saiyan] God would be right about 6. Only, Saiyans rapidly increase in strength as they fight against strong opponents, so the longer they fought, the more that gap would shrink, and it might even be possible for them to eventually turn the tables. Incidentally, I guess Whis would be about a 15.

I wouldn't say "only"... it may not seem like that much if you're falling into the trap of looking at it in terms of ratios and "multipliers," but considering just how absurdly powerful these guys are... in terms of raw numbers that 50% gap would end up equaling many many billions.

I think about it more like an average power of Goku in the whole fight agaisnt Beerus. I'd think Goku final attack absorbtion would put him a very little above 70% Beerus otherwise that attack would have killed him.

Except, oh I don't know, 18000 Vegeta still kicking 16000 Goku's butt, or 24000 Vegeta one shotting Cui, Dodoria, and then getting rekt by Zarbon transformed.
